Small businesses are the heart and soul of our community and through a feedback experience I can say that the owner of Davey Mac's really cares about the community and their clients! I have always loved this shop and recommend it highly as a place to visit in bayside for some of the most delicious gelato, especially the caramelised fig!!

Our first visit to this place and it was the best experience of gelato we’ve had for a while. Good service and good atmosphere definitely a recommended place.

I absolutely loved their vanilla creme brulee gelato. They have a junior size gelato for just $3.90...the perfect size for my four year old. They even put sprinkles on top free of charge. Will definitely come back again!

Love this ice-cream shop. The staff are incredibly welcoming and calm which is so nice to be around. There's lots of great options of flavours and ways to eat it - I love their thickshakes! Keen to get back there to try more flavours.

Fantastic ice creams, brilliant service. We loved the creamy varieties of Ferrero, Tiramisu, Oreo and Vanilla. Next time the fruity flavours, as we will be back!

Highly recommend! Lots of flavours to choose from (dark chocolate, raspberry, mint, passionfruit, mango, green apple, lemon etc.). You can also add half a scope for only 1$ more!

Generous servings, friendly service and, above all, fantastic flavours! This is the best ice cream I've found in Melbourne. The classic flavours are reliably great or try one of the more out-there options for a bit of fun.

I had the dark chocolate sorbet and strawberry gelato. I wasn't expecting much more than your average bayside effort. Wow was I shocked at just how nice that dark chocolate goodness was. No cheap tricks or crazy add-ons, just the smoothest and most decadent sorbet I've had outside of the city. I absolutely loved it, add in the location and you can't go wrong giving this a go while sitting by the beach.

The dark chocolate gelato was hands down best I've ever tried. Girlfriend tasted it and agreed. I'm very glad to have found and tried this little shop in black rock.
