Department of Transport and Main Roads Customer Service Centre Mareeba

Just did my manual driving test after driving an auto for years. My instructor Matt in the Mareeba office was an awesome guy and had me relaxed before we even started. Calm n easy going bloke and thankyou for the pass mark. 😀

Went in for a new licence - very prompt and professional service from a lovely lady. No delays, happy customer!

Easy access, pleasant staff, and for 9.30 time on a Friday, the quietest transport dept office I have ever been in.
Mininal queues and wait time.

Waiting to be served can be slow due to it being extremly busy..once served it is fast..freindly and very helpful. However some extra parking would be good.

Once again 4-5 ladies in office only 2 serving, line up out the door, maybe they should all hop on a counter when massive line up just to clear the line

Thank god there was one woman in there with the professional attitude needed. After losing my wallet and having no ID I would have appreciated a little more understanding. That woman was also sick.
