Lakes Entrance Log Cabins

Great location and the cabins suited my family beautifully. Very quiet spot and only 5 min from town. Feels like you’re in the middle of the bush. The owner gave us great tips for things to do. Loved our week in the cabin.

Felt compelled to leave a review of this fantastic place! Our family had the absolute best time here. The cabins are clean and have everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. We found the service and the man (unfortunately I didn’t catch his name) who helped us at reception to be so kind, knowledgeable and accomodating to our needs. We loved every second of this holiday and we are so excited to come back! Highly recommend

an experience that cannot be forgotten, the wonders of nature are very amazing around the accommodation, very comfortable rest time and hospitality from the 100% best owner, various interesting places just a few minutes away, in the morning birds of various colors come to your cabin and if you are a those who are interested in running or jogging here there is a trail that you can also try with an amazing view, can't wait to come back and stay at the log cabin again for next trip with our family

Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of today. Very quiet and was amazed how dark it was at night. Wildlife come to visit regularly, parrots during the day and possums at night.

Great accommodation for families. room for all the kids!!
If your not very good at camping but still like the experience of being outdoors this is perfect.
clean and tidy bathroom, good shower.
clean and tidy kitchenette.
great spacious deck and private fire pit, looking out into the bush.
lots of Mumma possums with there babies and birds that will eat straight from your hands!
close to town and beach and river.

The location is excellent, close to the village but feels like in the middle of the woods. The cabins are super cute and cozy and very well equipped (including fireplace). Mitch was super helpful and welcoming, making our experience even better. Have gone twice already and planning to go back!

We absolutely love this place. My son calls it the birds holiday. We have been many times and will continue to visit. Beautiful quiet location but still close to town. Love having the birds and possums visit too.

Great spot, cabins are rustic but spotless and very comfortable. Grab a bucket of wood, build a fire and enjoy this special place. The on site manager Mitch will sort you out with top recommendations on local spots to visit.

Very clean cabin's. 3 minutes to the main Street . had a great time feeding friendly Bird. Some even comes to your hands.
If you are looking for quite & close to amenities. This could be the place.

We stay here each time we are in Lakes Entrance. We stayed here 5 times already - possibly, the best recommendation! Very quiet place yet few minutes drive to the centre of the city. Nice cabins with outdoor veranda and own firepit. Parrots and possums visiting. And plenty of parking if you are with the boat or trailer.

Partly secluded log cabin especially Bushman cabin, have own fire pit outside, potbelly heater inside, split system if needed, nice and roomy comfortable lounge. Kitchenette with full size upright stove. Wild life all around you, mainly birds. Possums visit at night just dont have a light / fire on otherwise they don't come. Will be coming back.

My son and I stayed here for work for a week and a bit, very friendly staff went out of his way to help us and I will come back again for a great family affordable getaway! Thanks Mitch! Bush and beach within 5 minutes drive!

What a wonderful little getaway so close to town. Such a delightful and cosy cabin with a wonderful wood fire. My only suggestion would be an update of the couches as they were quite uncomfortable, however we would still stay here again if we ever return to Lakes Entance; even if the couches remain. Thank you Lesley and Dave for making our weekend away just that little bit more enjoyable. :)

Perfect place for a getaway. So close to everything in town, but still 'out in the bush'. I loved having out own firepit, and it was great to have so much wildlife come by and look for a feed.
We will be back and recommending to anyone who asks about visiting Lakes.

Wondeful, neat and tidy place... management is very friendly and flexible..
One log cabin/ chalet can accommodate 2 small families ( 6-8) easily. Does have BBQ machines, camp fire ( according to the guidelines)
Don't forget to feed the free roaming parrots...

NO WORDS CAN EXPLAIN....We visited Log Cabins in April. What could I say....the atmosphere...the cleanliness, the coziness, the host etc. etc. etc....Such a great experience that we can never forget...We felt welcomed the moment we entered the premises...We felt like home away from home...If you want to live close to nature and still next to Lakes Entrance Shopping area and the beach...this is the place for you...

If you are after hotel kind of accomodation...this is not for you...If you want something refreshing, beautiful surroundings, close to everything...you must consider this. I reckon, it worth giving a go...even for a day...Thanks a lot to the host for making us feel so welcomed. We will surely visit again...Cheers, Tandy

Really secluded cabins. Nice and clean. Great nature atmosphere. Loved the birds in the morning and the posems at night. Would love to stay again

We got here on14/12/15 for 3 days but stayed 2 extra days we liked the surrounding and the nature a hand full of bird seeds will bring in variety of birds to your balcony and dave and Lesley were fantastic we will be back

It's a beautiful tranquil hideaway. Everything you need, comfortable and cozy. We have been coming here on and off for 14years . Love it.

Peaceful quiet nature within minutes of everything...no frills but completely comfortable 😌
