Time and time again you have delivered excellent quality food that always tasted the same
I have tried so many Korean places in the city and none have really come close to your food.
Always fresh and always the same good flavours, with a fair amount of meat and vegies and good value prices.
Great customer service, we don't wait forever for our food, family friendly and has a good variety of meals and even a set meal offer.
I wish they were open Sunday so I can visit them after the market, thank you for your good quality and the ultimate best jabchae

Service is prompt & friendly and the menu is very good.
The fried chicken is beautiful, tender & juicy. Even cold, the next day, the chicken was delicious.
Portion is good.
The bimbinbop was delicious.
Highly recommend to try, it will be worth the visit.
Close to South Melbourne market & public transport.

Great spot for lunch near south melbourne Market. Food quality is good and lunch specials are decent value, but portion size compared to other korean restaurants is smaller. Quality of food and cooking is top notch. The set lunches with soup, salad, snack do allow you to have a more rounded meal. We've been here twice and staff has always been quite nice and attentive. Keen to try dinner and some other dishes here!

Tried Mong’s kitchen for the first time. Nice ambiance for small family with young kids. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food is traditionally cooked, very nice, bibimbap is yummy, and soup is spicy, the staff did warn it us. The portions are good. We really enjoyed it.
Oh.. they closed on Sunday even though it stated open on Sunday in Google.

A small local Korean restaurant from South Melbourne Central with a good selection of classic Korean dishes. Had the following:

- Noodle topokki with rice cake, fish cake, vegetables, pumpkin tempura and boiled egg; soup was more sweet than spicy, nothing was overcooked and too soft
- Bone haejangguk; spicy soup with pork back-bone and vegetables. Mildly spicy, savory and herby with little bits of meat
- Boneless spicy soy garlic chicken; a mix of white and dark meat, tender and with a slightly crispy coating. Not many places does spicy + soy garlic flavour together so it is a plus
- Beef japchae; soft chewy stir-fried glass noodles fully coated with flavour with a nice contrasting texture from the vegetable and beef slices
- Donkkaseu; deep fried pork cutlet. Pretty big portion, breading was crispy with a thick cut tender pork. The sauce was like a thick runny paste, more sweet and less tangy compared to the Japanese tonkatsu sauce
- Spicy pork sizzling plate; spicy, savory and sweet, the chili paste was caramelised onto the pork belly and vegetables, packed with flavour
- Seafood kimchi pancake with squid, prawn and spring onion; very crispy throughout the whole pancake; a lot of ingredients and not just heavy batter. Most places would only give you an option to choose between seafood or kimchi filing so this is a major plus

Overall very tasty food and relatively cheap for it's portion size; nothing was underwhelming, highlight was definitely the seafood kimchi pancake and beef japchae. Food took a while to arrive but we did ordered quite a lot and it was served all at once. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

it’s right next to the exit so you probably will missed it, it was quiet on the Monday afternoon, they have some pretty good deal for 1x entrées, 1xMain, 1xsoup served with rice & salad. we added boneless chicken w garlic soy flavour. for myself i have the chicken Bulgogi as main, friends of mine have the chicken katsu, with Mayo Prawn as entrée. they all taste delicious. The Boneless chicken were so crispy from the outside, juicy from the inside. the soup were a little bit too little but it’s doesn’t matter to us.

The service was so very warm and friendly. To me, that's one of the nicest things to sit down to. Now to the food. The Sun Doo Bu (tofu and seafood stew) was such a hearty, slightly spicy, and super yummy dish. The spicy pork and squid bulgogi was worth every cent. Pair the food with a nice Kloud beer and you have a winner on your hands. Gonna head back to try other dishes for sure.

This is a great little place. Excellent food and service to match. The Salmon Bibim-bap is excellent and recommended. Picture below. Busy on a Thursday night and I reckon everyone that left complimented the waitress for great service and great food.

Great quiet little restaurant in the Woolworths shopping center. Kimchi fried rice had a generous portion and the eel bibimpap is also very nice. The accompanying side dishes for the bibimpap is pickled wakame and sesame spinach which is very refreshing.

The best Korean meal I've had in Melbourne! Fried chicken with spicy garlic soy was excellent! The sauce was so unique with sugary cashews and dried chillies! Very different from any other place. I also ate the spicy clam soup which came with a side of rice and it was so so damn good. Like a warm hug!

There are so many things on the menu and I'll surely be back

Very healthy tasty lunch that was great value for money. They didn't have eel which was a shame as I really wanted that.
