Balista Lures

I first discovered Balista Lures a few years ago when looking for lures to use in a Yellow Belly competition. I thought back then that the flashing light was just a cool gimmick and id give it a go. To my delight I caught some great yellas with the biggest going 63cm on the 90mm Juggernaught which we nicknamed the UFO. As I predominately fish bass on the East Coast I had to wait 2 years before the Bass Lures hit the market and was keen to see how they would work. The Trance and the small Hunchback have now become my lures of choice with my tally for this season being in the triple figure mark which is definitely my best season yet since I started Bass fishing , with some solid fish being caught on surface.

I have used the Hunchback lure several times now, Nothing beats a large cod smashing it on the surface and then to bring to the boat at night and to see the lure flashing under the water with a cod attached .
