Acoustic Garden Cafe

I used to go this cafe years ago when we lived in Pt Lonsdale and remember the enchanting garden setting. We dropped in for afternoon tea two times on our recent visit to the area, and as very fussy dark roast coffee drinkers, were very pleased to find that this was the best coffee we've had in the area over the last few days. The scones were freshly made and served with generous portions of jam and thick cream, not that whipped stuff out of a can. I'll be very happy to make this cafe a regular in my stomping ground when we return to live later this year. NOTE: have cash at the ready. It's surprising that they don't have card facilities.

This cafe was recommended to us by a friend who had been the week before. Lovely garden setting and very clean cafe. Whilst the menu is small it is delightful fresh produce served with a smile. I had two piccolos.... excellent

Didn't realise until I looked on the website it closes at 3.00. We went yesterday before I looked on the site and sat chatting until about 5.00. Nobody said a word about wanting to close. It was my third time there. This time our grandchildren were with us. As a mother of seven and grandmother of eleven I love child friendly restaurants but not those burger and chips places with the ridiculous slides etc. this place is like Nanny's back garden, shady, not too pristine. The food is great, prices reasonable and the service so unobtrusive that you think you are at home. Good work!!!

Coffee is great!! Off the main street so quiet ambience and a lovely garden to sit in. Light delicious breakfast. Great service. Lovely people who run the place . Highly recommend.

My hot chocolate was delicious and my husband was impressed with his coffee.
