Yes, there is a wait time before your appointment as other reviewers have advised.
This is normal, every other medical centre will have a wait time as well, usually longer than Sonic HealthPlus.
From check in to departure, it took a little over an hour, that’s with me arriving early to fill in the paperwork.
From my perspective, this is an acceptable mix of wait time and consult time.
The staff were friendly and professional and the waiting room was tidy and comfortable.

Never had a bad experience in this practice, and I have been going since 2018. Nurses and receptionists are all nice and attentive, waiting times are reasonable. I have been going to Dr. Houwen since I first visited the practice, and I honestly have never been treated better as a patient. She is kind, understanding, full of empathy and very thorough.

I did a full pre-employment medical with Sonic Health Hay Street branch. The team was very professional, friendly and made the whole experience very easy. I would recommend Sonic Health Hays Street to anyone based on my personal experience there.

I've been a patient of Dr Kerr for a number of years and have found her to be a dedicated, compassionate and professional doctor. I have also seen a few of the other doctors there (Dr Partington and Dr Croft) once or twice and have never had a bad experience.

The Clinipath team there are also excellent.

I am generally seen on time and I have never waited more than 10 minutes for my appointment which I consider to be very efficient (suburban GP clinics usually make you wait 30+ minutes past the appointed time).

This practice has some very good doctors. I have seen Dr Liz and Dr Lisa and they are both excellent doctors. My appointments are always on time or earlier if I am there. Liz is very understanding and down to earth. If she doesn't know the answer to a problem she finds out and gets back to you. She is a diligent practitioner and always has an engaging and friendly attitude. She is very thorough in her diagnoses and lets you know what she is doing and why.

Saw Dr Elizabeth Kerr. CBD used for convenience though not nomally my GP provider. She seemd thorough. Sent me away for MRI scans. Contacted me the day following the scan to discuss without needing an appointment and arranged specialist engagment. The GP was professional and engaging and did not rush the appointment through. Happy to use her service again.

If the world had more doctors like Dr Houwen, this world would genuinely be a better place. Honestly one of the best doctors I've ever come across. Extremely understanding, warm, knowledgeable, respectful, caring and always on time. Really could not ask anything more from a doctor.

I have seen Both Dr Lisa Surman and Dr Sally Partington and multiple times and have found them both the be extremely knowledgeable and compassionate when dealing with what turned out to be a very complicated illness. The Pathology lab at CBD west always produces extremely fast results. I would recommend anyone who asks to CBD West.

Dr MK is brilliant. Good to talk to and explains stuff in easy to understand terms. My partner introduced him to me and and I can see why she recommends him.

Dr. Sally Partington is absolutely wonderful - warm, knowledgeable, and gives you exactly what you need. Highly recommend coming here.
