One Kangaroo Island

I travelled with my Lynch travel group of 11 - 2 couples and 7 singles. We're from California and Texas and have been around the world together over the past 30 years! We were blown away by the property as we stayed in both homes! Hugh and Coreena are the most welcoming and thoughtful hosts! The beach views and access are spectacular. The walk between the two houses is a nature walk in itself especially when Hugh stops to point out birds and small animals native to the island. The food was sooo fresh (just picked from the garden). Hugh and Coreena are dedicated to conservation and clearly love Kangaroo Island. Kangaroo One defines Excellence!!!

Our extended family toured Australia for 2-3 weeks in September/October and the opinions were unanimous - our stay at One Kangaroo Island was the true highlight of our trip. While the rest of our travels were definitely luxurious, One Kangaroo Island was the perfect combination of luxury and comfort. Corrina and Hugh made us feel like we were visiting long-lost friends. David's culinary creations were superb. The location and view was absolutely to die for. The only regret we had was that we didn't set aside more time to relax in the glorious bliss! Would highly recommend. Even from across the world, we're already considering a return trip.

What an amazing place to spend luxurious vacation!! Located on a hill with spectacular views from every bedroom, this is one of a kind home away from home. The hosts went out of their way to pamper us and feed us daily. The Best place to stay when in Kangaroo Island!!

We have traveled to Kangaroo Island with a familly of 5 and we stayed at One KI. The house is beautiful, modern, confortable and the vue is simply amazing. Our stay their had been wonderful thanks to our host that have been more than welcoming. Also, the food is fabulous. Simply said, it was one of our best travel experience ever and we couldn't recommend it more!

One KI is an amazing beachfront home, on a broad, usually unoccupied beach. Ocean views from all the bedrooms and the main seating areas stretch forever through floor to ceiling glass walls. Furnishings, appliances, electronics and connectivity are impeccable. Just as importantly, the hosts are friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable about the area and its nature and history and very generous with their time in making you feel at home and well cared for, without being at all intrusive. Our chef was wonderful to speak with, watch in action and his food was worthy of any posh restaurant on the mainland or elsewhere. Your only regret, if you are lucky enough to go, will be that you didn’t have more time at One KI and with its wonderful people.

I can honestly say staying at One Kangaroo Island, was the absolute highlight of our 30 day vacation to New Zealand and Australia. As soon as our group of 10 arrived, Coreena and Lola immediately came out to welcome us with open arms and made us feel right at home.

Amazing, gorgeous, ultra luxurious accommodations with all the upscale amenities, and lots of windows to enjoy the views of the beach and spectacular blue waters. And just imagine, falling asleep while gazing at the stars and waking up to a beautiful sunrise.

David, our chef, created the most delicious dinners ever and Coreena made a huge spread for breakfast, consisting of fresh fruit, yogurt and condiments, egg tarts or breakfast croissant sandwiches, and local Hot Cross buns. They both utilized local and homegrown produce, and sourced delicious baked goods from local bakers. Coreena and Lola offered a wide variety of cocktails, wine, coffee, tea, you name it.

We literally couldn't wait to end our Island tours to come back to relax and enjoy the views from the spacious deck, or paddle in the kayaks or standup paddle board, or just take a long leisurely, private walk along Browns Beach with fine sand dotted with interesting shells.

If you're looking for a heartwarming place to relax in luxury and privacy, with beautiful views, and delicious homemade food, I highly recommend you stay at Hugh and Coreena's One Kangaroo Island.

Had an amazing stay here. Beautiful accommodation and an unbelievably exclusive and pristine beach. There is so much wildlife to see on the island. Highly recommend staying at One Kangaroo Island!
