Island Beach Cabins

Cosy place with roos on the back porch. Bring plenty of carrots, they are greedy! Will eat from your hand, watch out for their front claws if they try to nick the entire carrot.
Shyne is a great host and very quick to respond.
Gas bbq, oven, microwave, 4 ring hob, washing machine.
The beach is awesome. Clear water, miles of long white sand beach.
What's not to like?!?!?

15 mins from Penneshaw ferry & nearest supermarket to stock up on carrots.
6 min walk, 3 min walk to beach. 35 mins from Kingstown. 1.5 hrs from remarkable rocks.
Get over to Duck Lagoon - we saw 3 koalas and 2 tiger snakes there.

Such an amazing place. From being greeted by a dozen kangaroos at the back porch and discovering this place has everything you need, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay. Air conditioning, open fire, washing machine and every appliance in the kitchen you could ever need, plus a host who bent over backwards to help us enjoy our stay all led to a perfect trip. Highly recommended

The cabin was very affordable, comfortable. Had a fireplace ready for us, porch has BBQ, and wild kangaroos show up at the porch as well. Will definitely recommend it. The host was amazing as well, gave us bottle of wine personally.

Shyne was a wonderful host. The property was beautifully equipped, even down to carrots for the kangaroos. Shyne was responsive and communicative. Loved the isolation and natural beauty of the place. We felt very welcome and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the property to anyone wanting a true getaway. Thank you!!

Spent a week at the Blue Wren cabin with the grandkids, absolutely loved the private and cosy cottage. The beds were fantastic and lovely and warm in the middle of winter. Close to the beach and the kangaroos at the back patio loved all of the carrots we could supply. Highly recommended for a family stay or couple.

A beautiful place to stay. Very cosy with the best beds. Kangaroos come for a visit daily and are very friendly.

Couldn't ask for a better place. Everything supplied very clean. Owner has kept in contact making sure we have all we need. Grandkids love feeding the kangaroos that come to the patio

This is our first trip to KI and despite some crazy interpretations of the accommodation address we found our little cabin in paradise. Our hosts are wonderful the area is just what we needed for a recharge
