The French Table Restaurant

Tonight was our first time at the French Table. I cannot believe I have lived in the Redlands this long and never tried this absolute hidden gem! From our first greeting, where the staff were friendly, charismatic and couldn't do enough for us, to the absolutely divine food. I have never seen my husband so happy with a meal, in our 9 years together. We had the baguette and escargot to start. Don't be afraid to try something new, you will love it! For mains we had the strip sirloin and the seafood soup. my husband's steak was cooked to perfection and the seafood was to die for! Now let's get to the main event, the desserts.... we had the orange crepe and the mango tart. Every mouthful was pure heaven. Thank you so much to the staff and the amazing chef/chefs. We will certainly tell everyone about this amazing restaurant and cannot wait to return. Thank you 🙏

We just had a low key birthday dinner (2 adults and our 14 year old son) at The French Table. Everything about the experience was absolutely perfect. The service was exceptional and really made the night feel special. Entrees, mains and desserts were great serving sizes, flavours and presentation. We can’t wait to come back again! Thank you.

Beautiful food and service, a piece of Paris in Qld. We popped in for dinner on Tuesday but I suggest you book to be sure.

New autumn menu…the rabbit terrine has a delicate flavour soft and juicy. For anyone who loves meat Venison w herb crumb tender and tasty. Ruby creek mushrooms, sauté kale and sweet potato makes this dish a meal without meat 😋 plus there’s mini croquembouche filled w vanilla custard and pistachio custard yum

Dinner last night from the new menu was delicious, highly recommend the pork, the flavour was so delicate and creamy almost. Plus loved that they offer many GFO and dietary requirements are not a problem. The restaurant was fully booked, meals and service excellent. Looking forward to eating my way thru the rest of the menu.

An absolutely magnificent experience. The staff were very friendly and exceptional in their timing, understanding of the menu, and personal service. We had the Sunday, 4 course degustation menu and it was fantastic. Each course was unique and flavoursome. I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you staff of The French Table.

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary and couldn't have asked for a more special evening. We chose the degustation menu, and food was nothing short of amazing, we could not fault anything. Wonderful Experience: Delicious authentic French restaurant. Extremely friendly staff, reasonable prices, great atmosphere. We had such great time with my hubby on our special Valentines Day. Would recommend the snails from the menu :) Will be definitely coming back.

What an amazing restaurant The French Table is. Incredible service, exceptional food and a beautiful atmosphere. Have lived in the Redlands for years and never tried The French Table. Now we have and we'll be back. Prices are reasonable and the food is so delicious, every mouthful was scrumptious. It's a must to try.

French food has always been touch and go for me, a bit of a cautionary venture, but The French Table changed that. No good restaurant can succeed without a solid foundation, and the kitchen and service staff were no exception. Our waiters were exceptional, both serving us with charm, class, and a smidge of French charisma. As much as the service was incredible, the food backed it up. The scallop entree that i indulged in was incredible, with buttery sweet scallops sporting a sophisticated char that elevated the flavour tremendously. I’d recommend it to anyone hesitant to try scallops, as the way they were prepared would make them delicious to anyone. For the main, i tried the duck, which i am quite picky about. The satisfaction i got when a two perfectly cooked duck breast filets, with duck fat roast potatoes and pan-seared mushrooms were presented to me was immense. The duck itself was soft, tender and juicy, and the umami released from the meat when biting into it was stunning. Accompanying this burst of meaty goodness was the piercing saltiness of the skin of the duck, which was seared to perfection and seasoned wonderfully to supplement the taste of the duck. I’ll definitely be coming again.

Delightful experience. The escargot were the best I've had in Brisbane, drenched in garlic butter, was only sorry there was not a bit more baguette for mopping up the remnants. The scallop entree was equally good, scallops were cooked perfectly. Pork main was beautifully soft and nicely flavoured with the croquette being a lovely addition. Creme brulee was as it should be, rich and creamy, not overly sweet and with a light vanilla fragrance balanced with with the slightly charred caramel. Service was warm and friendly. Only minor critique was that the table decor was a little lifeless, a flower or something bright would have been nice, and there was a bit of a wait for meals however this was explained due to understaffing with covid. Overall a lovely choice for a date and would go again.

We had the 6 course 'Dègustation' meals. Amazing! It shows the great range of skills the chef has. Totally worth it! The wait staff was very warm and friendly, and I was impressed how he knew each course in-depth. We'll be back soon, to try the 'Grillè Night'.

What a wonderful find this place is. Everything from the food, the ambience to the staff was amazing. Very much a different experience to your run of the mill restaurants. We will be back to try the new menu

I went here for my birthday with my family and we were all very impressed.

Upon entering we were greeted by friendly staff who seated us in some exquisite soft chairs. The serving staff were polite and attentive the entire evening.

The amus bouche were delightful, not to mention all the delights that followed.
Our table had scallops, kingfish carpaccio, beef tartare, roast duck, mushroom ravioli, escargo and some finely baked baguettes.

We also indulged in a fine moscato, and I, a refreshing margarita.

A wonderful atmosphere complimented our dining experience. We freely spoke and joked amongst ourselves, as did the many patrons on adjacent tables.

If you want to experience French cuisine without the rigid, often intimidating vibe of a snooty restaurant, The French Table is for you. The energy is as genuine as the food is, and both sit upon the senses with a classic European warmth.

My whole family had a wonderful time, especially my mother. We shall be back 🇫🇷

Wow. Words escape me. My dining partner says “magnifique”.
The food was delicious, flavours popped.
We had the bread aperitif, the butter exploded with flavour, Parpadelle and Duck courses were beyond fault and neatly finished with orange crepes. Cannot fault the food at all, and service was quick, attentive and also beyond fault. Looking forward to 2nd visit with the change of menu in a few weeks
