The Blue Parrot Café

We ordered 5 burgers and a kids meal over the phone. The lady taking our order was polite and super friendly. She kindly mentioned we could get our order delivered to our air BnB house for only $7.00. The Burgers and seasoned chips were delicious. Highly recommend the burgers and also milkshakes.

Had 2 birthday celebrations there this Thursday lunch. The food was great probably filled up on garlic bread because it was so delicious. Air conditioning was very nice. Owners where super helpful when a misunderstanding happened 👍👍

Good solid cooking! specials are good value. Would love to see it get a refresh or refurbished even back to the retro original! Staff friendly and good portions.

Breakfast special was great! $10 for egg muffin and a latte! 😊☕

Had breakfast here this morning. Very impressed with the whole experience. A young man wearing a neat shirt and tie served me at the counter. A tie...Macleay Island??? Then I thought how good is that? A great first impression.. The other staff I met also were friendly. A lady who may or may not have been the owner/manager was so genuinely friendly that I had to notice. Tha basic bacon eggs tomato and toast was ready well presented. Attention to detail may be their forte.

First coffee of the day there, every day, 07.15 sharp. Best coffee on the island, best chips and gravy on the island, best service on the island.

Place has a very old world charm. Rustic but comfy and welcoming and pleasant view onto water and bushland from the back room

Beautiful venue, great coffee, friendly locals and manager. Very unassuming place yet great view out to the bay from the deck. Loved every minute of my visit and will definitely be back again.

Best place to have breakfast on Macleay. Great food, friendly service, sweet coffee.
Safe to trust they will be open.
Then had an amazing crispy chicken burger for lunch. On my way out. Buying a personally blended packet of loose tea from "Rainbow Tea's"

Great food, great coffee. We're not from the island but we've been to two cafe's and this one is the best one. I had lunch, and dinner. Their Caesar Salad is amazing for a good fraction of a price unlike Coffee Club, it's too expensive and it's not even good Ceasar Salad.🙄

Best eggs Benny and steak sandwich is pure bliss. Fantastic menu and quality ingredients. They have something for everyone

Now owners & already a huge improvement, will be regulars now given the quality dished up here.
Macleay needs good food open of weekends & Daniel is certainly offering this now.
