Nothing better than hot chips and a cool drink by the water! Enjoyed the breeze, sat inside, watched people and birds visiting the cafe for lunch, absolutely lovely little spot.

The veggie burger was super tasty. A potato croquette style patty with peas, corn and carrot pieces, super lightly crumbed for a perfectly crisp bite!

My partner for lunch got the hamburger and confirmed a tasty patty with equally fresh lettuce, tomato slices and beetroot (from the veggie burger haha).

Eclectic is the only way to describe this Café. Food was fantastic, crumbed Cod a nd chips. Keep up the good service but don't redecorate. I love the 1950's feel.

The food is cooked to perfection and tastes great. The service is prompt and friendly. This is our regular takeaway shop nowadays.

Took my sister-in-law from Melbourne today. Food was fantastic. Well cooked fresh fish and chips. Lovely young man served us and was very helpful.

Been here multiple times for fish and chips. Always order on the phone and pick up. Always on time and best fish and chips in the bay we've had in a long time. The batter on fish is crispy and light and fresh. Chips are always delicious with a bit of crunch yet soft on the inside. Two cod plus chips and tatare sauce is about $20. Good deal! Many times we've had extra lemon and chips and fish pieces added for free. We are yet to try the Asian menu range but am sure if they do a good job of fish and chips the Asian range will be delicious.

Grabbed fish and chips for lunch. Snapper was well cooked with very fine batter. The chips were great.

Great grilled fish (barra and sea perch), the potato scallops look hand made (the actually have potato in them), reasonably generous serving of small chips, yummy burgers.
Asian meals also available which are delicious!
Take away, or eat in and keep an eye out for the local curlews who wander past.

Surprisingly very nice. Had fish and chips. The chips were small but very nice. Fresh and crunchy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. The fish was crumbed but still moist and not dry. The hamburger was not messy. Very tasty and we will be back.

Awesome chips that actually like potatoes and the nicely thick cut calamari’s were spot on!

However, it was quite salty to my liking just had to shake the salt off to enjoy it further. Will go back and ask for less salt sprinkled on next time 😋

Was a really nice meal. Non greasy, great piece of fish. I couldn't fault it. I would come back. Very happy.

This cafe has been my go-to for a few years now for a vege burger and chips after a bay paddle. Vege burgers can be hit and miss, and price is never any guarantee of quality, but these are consistently good and the staff are great. I was there today, and I think there was a lady doing the food prep, and it was easily amongst the best vege burgers Ive ever had, thank you very much - delicious!!!!!

I've also been served many times in the last few years by the girl mentioned in some of the other reviews. I've always found her polite and pleasant, my orders and totals charged have always been correct, I have no unkind words to say about her and her service, it's always been a good life experience :) The food always comes in a reasonable time - and it can get quite busy on the weekends.

I might skip the kayaking next time and just go Bayside for the burger :)

Fantastic Battered Fish, Chips and Potato Scallops!!! We love our fish n chips and this little cafe in Victoria Point makes the best fish n chips we've had for years. The batter is perfectly light and crunchy, everything served hot, fresh and lightly salted. They have proper chips (not fries) and the potato scallops are crunchy and delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection......totally worth a drive from Brisbane :P

A perfect location only walking distance from the boat ramp. When we first started coming here it only sold fish n chips. Now with new owners there is a massive range of different food to choose from.

Still sell fish chips n burgers but now also sell a big range of really tasty Asian food.

Everything is cooked fresh with generous portions and really well priced. Can't beat the view either.

Fresh and tasty, reasonable price, Staff is friendly. Highly recommended!

One of my favourite fish and chips shops around Brisbane. We went there today. The scallops taste so fresh and juicy! Wow! I will order a dozen of scallops next time.
