Generous serving of curry

This is Indian fast food served from a buffet and the purists will say it's not real thing. I know mango chicken is not Indian and chicken tikka masala was invented in the UK but nearly all Indian restaurants do the latter. Well for a quick lunch it's fast, tasty and has plenty of variety. I eat here about once a a week and find the service OK to very good; they do get busy but I never wait that long. Oh, I like the rice and it has never been watery. I reckon some people have champagne taste on a beer budget. It is beer budget and beer taste.
Now closed at UQ but open at other locations such as Greenslopes.

good value butter chicken for lunch

Food is nice, with a good selection. Open later than the refectory. Queues are sometimes, but not often long.

However, staff's manners aren't very welcoming, and I have often had to seek their attention whilst waiting to be served.

Low quality food. Very small portion and rice is wet - almost like a soup. Woman at counter was unmasked and ungloved. Not Covid safe. 2 stars is being generous, i think.

Probably scared that they’re going to run out of rice. Rice was only 0.5/4 of the container and gravy was like 3.5/4.
The lady at the counter was so busy talking to someone over the AirPods and wanted to get rid of me ASAP 😂 She had 0 patience with me asking what’s in the curry and asking for a bag.
Won’t go again- poor customer service.

A true indian experience, watery runny curry.
They forgot to add garlic and cheese to the indigestible brick naan bread??
And they used their hands to pick it up 😁

The first time I ordered a Holy Cow a canned drink and also a pappadum was supplied. But as I placed the same order today, the staff at the counter insisted today that no pappadum or drink was supplied. Even though I explained I had paid the same price with the drink and pappadum supplied, they rudely responded with a "thank you" which was a disrespectful way to ask me to leave. I have also noticed that during lunch hours when there is a long queue, the rice is often not ready. Service was very ungracious.

Worst Miss India I have ever been to. It's bad enough that Miss India isn't really representative of true Indian food, and let's face it, is more an Indian fast food take away for Aussies. I have lovely Indian friends and I can assure you, that is not authentic food. But needless to say, I have still bought Miss India at Greenslopes, Coorparoo and other suburbs in the past and the food was great - fresh, tasty, good size servings and great customer service. This franchise at UQ is sub-standard! All the breads were not cooked through - very oily outside and dry and like uncooked cake inside. I got the eggplant dish and it had more OIL than any other ingredient and barely any flavour or spice. Not good at all. and almost $13 for not even a palm full of curry and one half of a half cooked bread. I got 2 poppadoms as well and both were not crunchy - completely soggy - not going back there. Waste of time. Pick up your game!
