Golden Palace Chinese Restaurant 金皇宮Chinatown Brisbane

We had our dinner here during dead hours on a weekday, we're looking for a new chinese restaurant to try within the Valley and we found this place. You have to walk upstairs, there's the front and staff are friendly and nice during our dine in. The place is spacious, they have rooms for celebrations and gatherings. What I like about this restaurant is the servers are always smiling and very happy, they're asking you how the meal is and even explain it to you happily.

I would recommend getting the following:
- Deep Fried salt and pepper Squid
- Duck whole
- pork siumai
- prawn hakaw
- special fried rice
- and the absolutely amazing seafood omelette, the sauce is the star here, it's sweet and sour and perfect with rice!

We will definitely come back and dine again. 👌🏼

The food was really yummy! We also ordered some dumplings but I wasn't able to take a photo because I was too excited to eat it right away 😅 the price is reasonable and the service was very pleasant 😌 will definitely go back for more ✨

Chinese restaurant with a lot of menus of food such as yum cha, main dish and drink, we have tried several menus here, those were good meals. Nice decoration and ambient music is good, so nostalgic.

Stunning!! Live Lobster from the tank, chefs skill and knowledge extenuate the sweet meat of the Lobster. Great ambiance and friendly staff. Will return for this great banquet. 10/10. We paid $350 all up with half a roasted duck, steam fish and Chinese greens in garlic sauce. Beverages also. Plenty of left over food for 2 Adults and 3 kids.

Food was delicious ordered fried rice, pork bun and shanghai. (The pork buns tasted like magic clouds). Customer service was great and the place was clean and warm. Will back.

I was craving for some good hakaw and didn't want to drive 20 minutes to go to Landmark. Google to the rescue, we found this gem in the Valley.

The sticky rice was the best I ever had next to what my maa makes at home. 😊

The server, a sweet middle aged lady was amazed with the amount of food we ordered and how fast we finished it. I understand how some people find it rude when others comment on their food, how much and how fast they eat. We were not offended, instead we felt at home. It felt like she was our auntie asking us not once, not twice but three times if we can finish our food. 😂

We will be back and next time, we'll order more. 😊

I had dinner with six of my friends. We order lobster, mud crabs and a few more dishes. The food were amazing. And the staff was always ready for help. A reasonable price for authentic Chinese cuisine and friendly staff. I could say this is the best Chinese food in whole Brisbane.

Food was delicious ordered fried rice, pork bun and beef crepes (The pork buns tasted like magic clouds). Customer service was great and the place was clean and warm. I did have to say goodbye to Larry the crab in the tank due to someones order RIP, but other then that great all round.

I remember coming here as a kid over 30 years ago and the quality was just as impressive!!! Incredible food and very friendly staff... Well worth it!

I was a little skeptical coming here at first, especially walking in from the garage where it didn’t seem like it was a nice place, but when I walked inside further it was very nice and clean too! My husband and I wanted to eat somewhere Chinese since it’s Christmas Eve and dim sum seemed like the proper tradition for us every year. Happy to know they were still serving at 2 when they close at 3 from lunch. We ordered dim sum appetizers and some vegetable fried rice. Everything was delicious and freshly made. There wasn’t one dish we didn’t enjoy and we stuffed ourselves until there was only one veggie dumpling remaining. The staff is very friendly and seems to be like a family who works and owns the place. The menus are well written and also display a photo under each description.

Very Polite and attentive staff, Menu had great variety of Chinese food, dishes we ordered were very delicious and price was very good for the portion served, they will customize your meal to fit your taste better (i.e. spiciness level, meat type in a certain dish, etc.), service was quite fast and the tables and restaurant overall were super clean, highly recommended if you're into Chinese food and are visiting Brisbane's Chinatown.

I got the cold cucumbers and special fried rice and it was absolutely the best fried rice. Just delicious and a hefty portion (get the chili sauce with it). Also, the staff was completely lovely.

We have been visiting Golden Palace Chinese Restaurant for more than a year and everytime the experience has been good. Great menu options for both non-vegeterian and vegetarian food. The food is delicious and so reasonably priced. The interior and decor is appealing. Great service, the staff is polite and friendly. The restaurant is located right is heart of Fortitude valley and is easily accessible from any corner of Brisbane. Must visit for authentic chinese food.

A good place to celebrate Chinese New Year. Not too pricey and provides the right atmosphere for the event.

Great selection and the food is fantastic. The service was excellent and definitely worth dining in.

What a banquet we had for Chinese New Year. Great service, great food and great entertainment. We will definately be back.
