Lilypad Espresso Bar

Dropped in for a coffee & brunch with some friends & thoroughly enjoyed it. The little chocolate brownie you get with your coffee was delicious. Great to see home made food being offered as well as a great selection of gluten free. Keen to try the pizza now. Will definitely go back. Thanks Ladies.

Coffee is excellent, the caramel muffin was one of the best I’ve ever had (gooey caramel inside) and the smell of the woodfired pizza I’m about to have is amazing. Nice, relaxing atmosphere inside too

Lilypad espresso bar is a new addition to town and they've just been around for 2 months. There was another cafe in this exact location some time ago.
Good coffee. Really friendly staff.
You get a bite size brownie for every serving of coffee you order. And coffee comes in the regular sizes but with the option to have an additional shot. The location may not be ideal. But all you need is good food and coffee.

There's just something different about Lilypad espresso. Sure, the decor isn't the most modern or chic. In fact, there's a hint of steampunk to it with metal rods, bars, and stuff at every corner of the cafe. Peek next door and you'll know why. What makes this cafe so warm is the hospitality that greets you the moment you walk up to the counter to get your orders taken.

Coffee? Amazing.

Food? Awesome. We had the pleasure of sampling the croissant and salad. Great stuff I tell you.

After we've had our meal, I asked my wife what was the best part of this visit. We both had the same answers. The lemon and orange cordial. I have not seen this served anywhere else and guess what people? It's free. Just grab a bottle from the fridge and pour away. Such a refreshing drink on a blazing hot day!

Apparently there's a different food menu on Saturday. Do check it out. I know I'll be coming back for more food.

Delicious food. Nice and quick! The home made lemonade hit my thirst spot! Recommend they sell in bottles lol keep it up guys :)

Delish coffee (elixir) and a tiny brownie on top. Great service, was offered water at my table and only ordered a take away coffee. Grand Designs, attached, is a fun place to look around.

Currently house sitting in Northgate I came across this cafe by mistake while walking the dog. Today was the third morning in a row I’ve been there and was even provided with ice cold water and a dog bowl while I waited for my coffee. Top coffee and top service guys. Thank you!! Will see you again tomorrow :)

Great place great coffee good people an excellent food

I had been going to another cafe nearby but decided to just stop in here one day as it's across from the train station. Awesome, friendly service, every time. And the chocolate brownie they give you free with your hot drink is probably the best brownie I've ever eaten. Definitely my regular morning spot now.

What an awesome little piece of paradise & a complete surprise. Popped in on a rainy day whilst having the car serviced locally. The coffee, service & freshly made croissants were all fantastic! So much so we went back for a second serve 2 hours later.

Coffee tastes amazing. Very reasonable price. Can get a large 4 shot coffee for less than $6. The owners/staff are the most beautiful baristas I have ever met. Super friendly and always put me in a good mood. Keep up the great work guys!

Laika served me and my sister, making a delicious chai latte and a hazelnut latte. They were so friendly and went above and beyond with service :). The baked sweet treats are lovely too!

This place did not disappoint! Great service, great coffee and loved the little brownie bite on top of my coffee. Also got a ham and cheese croissant that was toasted perfectly. Couldn't fault them, just wish it was closer to my usual place of work 😊

My god you need to go there just for the awesome people making you a cup of happiness.

The two ladies running the cafe were rich in banter and fun conversation. (They are so sweet and complimented on my keep cup, bless!)

4.9 stars well deserved! This place is excellent. Great coffee, with a free brownie chunk - yum. Imported french croissants? Yum. Homemade cordial for the table? Yum. Cosy, retro-kitsch setting. Friendly, local atmosphere. The most inviting, unobtrusively conversational owner you'll ever meet. Grabbing your fix here is like coming home.

Very fast and friendly service. Always make you feel welcome. Great coffee and a few tasty breakfast items. The small, complimentary brownie bite with every coffee is a nice way to start the day.

my brother and I popped in for two double shot piccolos, they were veeery well made, great coffee beans. The brownie pieces they served it with were divine. Great friendly staff and the cafe itself has awesome character. 5 stars.

Have ridden past this little coffee shop many times, but stopped in this morning when dangerously low on energy cycling. Could not have been happier. Great coffee, delicious free little brownie cube. Fast and friendly service and great value! Will definately be stopping in again!
