Salvos Stores Red Hill

A very large Salvos, with a large amount of furniture, and household items. Clothing racks are numerous so allocate a fair amount of time, to shop here if you want to see everything!
Lots of parking available. Prices are good, which I find to be true of most Salvos stores. A huge range in this store and staff are helpful and kind. Highly recommend if you’re a thrift store fan.

So lucky to have this store as my local op shop! The staff are always lovely and helpful, the clothing is very reasonably priced with a seperate designer section and the more affordable clothes taking up the rest of the store. They often have a great selection of men's pants and my partner has found some cord pants and his favourite jeans there for about $5! I've found some of my favourite pieces here and many unique pieces of furniture. Thank you to all the amazing staff and volunteers that look after this store!

We absolutely love this place and shop their extremely regularly. While things aren't necessarily a bargain you'll definitely find things you like. It's one of the very few op shops we've been to where they've never been rude or act like you may be shoplifting as some can stalk you around the store & make you want to immediately leave.

I find they're more often then not openly helpful & they also have free bread multiple times per week

I highly recommend Salvos Redhill I picked up a good quality Avanti bicycle this morning in excellent condition, like brand new for a fraction of the price. I felt it was worth paying for something durable since I enjoy riding so much. There are also some top end road bicycles for the cycling enthusiasts. There is a bicycle repair and service shop there as well, which was handy to ask them questions.

Got myself a lovely reconditioned bicycle from The Salvos Re Cycle Bikes. Good deal from Damian to help the Salvos work. Had a great chat too.

Well worth the trip out to, what seems like, suburbia. Like an airplane hangar has been turned into an opshop with copious amounts of clothing taking up one side and homewards and kids paraphernalia occupying the other side. There's even a resident magpie, Gary - or Gazza that controls the moth population. I got some really excellent stuff here, can definitely recommend a visit.

Today Monty and Sam collected a lounge from my home. What an asset they are to your team. They were very friendly and helpful, and they took great care when removing the lounge not to damage it or the doorway. I’m pleased to know that others will benefit from this donation and that this lounge will have another life. Thanks Monty and Sam.

Wonderful place, had a very enjoyable time and it was so nice to relax and stroll around looking at antique items and discovering precious finds. Staff were lovely, but a word of warning they don't have a bathroom for public access there.

one of the best op shops in the inner northside. pretty huge, with separate furniture section and now with a bike restoration workshop, related to a teenage upskilling program like traction, i think.

Lovely boutique and amazing prices for top quality brands. Big library area with good reads and much much much more.

Good variety, some prices are higher than at other op shops but still far cheaper than buying at retail stores. Clothes are organised by type, size and colour and there are plenty to choose from. If you have a concession/student card with you, you’ll get 20% off clothes on Saturdays.

Beautifully presented Salvos store. Staff are pleasant. The items are great quality. The prices are fair if you are shopping for yourself or gifts for another. However, there were profiteers there clearly shopping for items to on-sell at market stalls; eBay etc and they were complaining about prices. So, if you want quality inexpensive items for yourself or gifts for others - then this store has some lovely quality items at a fair price. But if you're a trader seeking to profit with on-selling ..... then don't bother.

OMG!! What bargains!! I was served Lisa and she wet out of her way to help and advise VW me on various items. She was so very lovely. I will be back!!!!!

Was the best experience had been looking around for a new recliner chair was so happy with the price and service that i told my flatmate and we came back and brought the second one. They were both in beautiful condition thank you so much guys 10/10 look forward to returning sometime soon😊.

Very friendly staff very helpful. Store is very easy to navigate and find things. The prices are very good considering they aren't given financial help from outside sources. So easy to just lose time here. Will definitely be coming back!

I love looking around here. One of my friends outfitted their ding room for under $200 and you would never know!
