Hachi Japanese Restaurant

I have been going to Hachi Japanese Resturant for over 14 years now and it’s the best Japanese Resturant on the Gold Coast. If you like modern Japanese food with a creative Australian Spin that’s tailored to your Tastes Bud i highly recommend this place. The price is fair for the meal size you get and for me you can’t beat quality produce and exceptional Presentation.
Make sure you book in advance because it gets very busy and you don’t want the disappointment of being turned away, there’s nothing like it. My last meal was the winter special, Tonkotsu Ramen Noodle Soup and my friend had the Korean Spicy Ramen both were amazing.
You’ll need to go back a few times to try everything on the menu because everything is so good!

We dined at Hachi for the first time last Friday evening. Everything was great...from ease of booking online, to fantastic, friendly service, to incredibly tasty food. We loved it!

Food was absolutely delicious and the service great. Especially loved the prawn tacos! Crispy tacos with prawns on top with slightly sweet sauce and a hint of spice. The chicken karaage was also deliciously crispy.
Tuna sashimi was beautifully presented with the addition of some seaweed. Udon (beef) had a lovely favoured broth. Refreshing Japanese beer on tap. Will definitely be back.

Some of the best Japanese food I’ve had in a long time. The staff and chefs were friendly and attentive. Their drinks menu included a nice variety of Japanese alcohols. The restaurant had a warm, cozy feel to it. I was able to just walk in but I’d recommend booking a table in advance if planning on dining more than two people. My Agedashi Cheese was surprising light but full of flavour. The Chicken Katsu Don ticked all the right boxes and came with more rice than I realised. I will definitely be back in the future, and next time I’ll come properly prepared with an emptier stomach!

Absolute perfect Japanese just as it should be. Incredible service by Yuka who guided my party through a beautiful menu. Totally blown away by the food, service and experience. Go there!

food was good and the vibe was nice. the edamame chips were so fun. sushi was yummy but a bit expensive. miso soup was SO good, salty but i loved it. would recommend.

Authentic Japanese restaurant on the Gold Coast. I have tried a lot of dishes off the menu and love them all but if I have to choose, ponzu salmon has to be my favorite. They are kids friendly too.

If you are looking for the locals favourite spot, this is it! We love going to Hachi. The food is always delicious and service is always great. I couldn’t recommend the place more.

My husband, son and myself went to Hachi restaurant for dinner. It is a lovely place, the customer service is excellent and the food really good. We loved it and would recommend Hachi Japanese restaurant to anyone who does authentic Japanese food.

Nice little cozy Japanese restaurant. I like the prawn tacos and the beef steak sliced. Very nice food and ambience. The calamari pancake was the last dish and was a bit burned but it's ok.

We went there for dinner with friends. Our friends have been there several times. They said the foods quite nice so we went there to try. I like their Agedashi tofu and stir fried pork with sweet miso sauce. So many choices to choose from. Service is quite good as well. If you are looking for the cheap meal, I don't recommend. We will come back for more...👍
