Dr Mark J Donaldson

I was referred to Dr Donaldson for emergency retinal surgery and cannot thank him and his team at the Terrace Eye Centre enough for helping me. He was calm and caring (when I was stressed), explained what was happening and what he would do, and was very responsive to all my questions and concerns post surgery. It’s clear he has found his purpose in life and is an expert in his field. I would not hesitate to recommend him and would give him 10 stars is possible.

Dr Donaldson is an exceptional specialist in every way. I was referred to him by my ophthalmologist for semi-urgent treatment. He saw me within a week, and his bedside manner, care, compassion, and educational approach were all outstanding. I was fortunate to be able to receive the procedure on the same day. As with any eye procedure, I was nervous, but Dr Donaldson took the time to explain the entire process and ensure that I felt comfortable and safe at all times. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs specialist eye care.

I cannot thank the amazing team at Terrace Eye Centre from Reception (all of them) to first Consultant and Nurse (so sorry i have not recalled your names as i was nervous) through to Dr Donaldson. Everyone was so kind,  helpful, explained what was happening and extremely caring in nature.   I would not hesitate to recommend these professionals to my family and friends. Thank you, Darinka

never met the man but have listened to his lectures at UQ. not only is he very knowledgeable, he is a good teacher (and we know when a person is bad at teaching). he was also very encouraging to medical students to learn. to me, that means something.
