Authentic spice kitchen

We came by this restaurant by chance after walking out of another. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here. I always base my opinion on my usually ordered dish aloo gobi. This one was freshly prepared & perfectly cooked & spiced. My partner ordered the beef & spinach also done well & meat was very tender I was informed. Pleasant unobtrusive service

Definitely the best Indian food I have ever had! The service was great despite only two people working when we ate there. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. I will definitely eat here again.

Great spot, but most of all the food is the best, most authentic Indian food you ever did taste. Don't come here if you're after that tomato soup butter chicken. This is my favourite place to eat in Surfers.

Visited 2 other Indian places before sumbling across this one. Excellent little place if you're in the area and feeling like this cuisine. Wasn't a very busy time when we went for dinner so service was quick. The owners are absolutely lovely and very accommodating.

Plenty of vegetarian options, and the lady was very helpful in identifying which ones can be made vegan. Servings are very generous for price payed and food is very fresh and authentic.

Lovely authentic Indian. The kids had a great time with some cheesy naan and butter chicken. We enjoyed the rogan josh. The staff were very friendly and gave the kids some colouring to do.

On holidays here and my kids wanted shahi paneer. we were walking past spice kitchen and thought to try. And it was the best decision. The taste is authentic north Indian and the best Indian food we had in Gold Coast. The serving size is very good and would highly recommend this place before you try any other Indian restaurant in Surfers Paradise!

I went for take away order as the restaurant was close to our stay. The guy on counter was great. I ordered Chicken Masala with 2 Naans for my kids. Everything was so delicious, even they put some complimentary rice as well. We will definitely be back.

100% the best tasting Indian food we have ever had, made by this family. A flavour wonderland. Will be back with friends and family. We are European but will be bringing our Indian friends from Sydney there when they come up to Gold Coast. In the middle of Surfers. Easy parking.

Thank you for this lovely service and delicious food! The chutney for the samosas was so damn tasty and the meals were super flavourful as well as the garlic naan bread 😍 we need more places like this! Definitely will be coming back ❤

Absolutely fabulous food - authentic Indian flavours and far and away my favourite Indian restaurant.

I have thoroughly enjoyed every dish that I have had here and the proximity to the bottle shop and their no charge BYO policy keep the prices reasonable too.

Excellent restaurant and recommended to all looking for a proper Indian meal (British people, you know what I mean)

We had a beautiful dinner here. Portions were perfect, food was authentic and fresh and very clearly made with some passion. Staff were lovely and you can see this is a family run restaurant. Highly highly recommend.

Lives up to it's name using whole spices in some of the best Indian food l have had. By the way it's BYO no corkage.

What an experience! We were transported to India in moments with an incredible atmosphere and the best service. The food was outstanding, fresh, aromatic, tender. We highly recommend this restaurant, they deserve 10 stars. We will be back!
