Dr Dale Rimmington

Dr Rimmington operated to repair my knee 4 years ago. I had substantial damage to my meniscus, a ruptured ACL and articular cartilage floating. After seeing numerous surgeons for consultation who either had a terrible bedside manner or just wanted to remove my meniscus, Dr Rimmington was a pleasant surprise. He shows genuine care and compassion and gave me a shot at keeping my meniscus rather than fast-track my osteoarthritis. I’m back running again. I highly recommend.

I could not have asked for better care and service. Dr Dale Rimmington and his entire team have been outstanding in every aspect of my care. Dr Rimmington performed shoulder surgery on my AC joint 5 weeks ago and it is healing much better than I expected. My partner is a nurse in a shoulder surgery ward, so she has a good understanding of the process and has commented on how exceptional the level of care that I received has been. I had total knee replacement surgery last year and reverse shoulder replacement 6 weeks ago. Both have been problem free and successful.
Dr Rimmington is a fantastic surgeon but equally importantly to me a
lovely person and makes you feel completely at ease.
Simon his Physiotherapist is also great as is Karen his office manager.
A wonderful team!

Dr. Rimmington is an amazing doctor, not only he is amazing at his job, he actually cares for the patient and takes the time to explain , and make sure you feel comfortable with the surgery. He is a rare find and I would recommend him anytime. His follow up is amazing after the surgery, and his office staff and Physio ( Simon Rundell) make a great team , and really work hard to help you in a difficult time. Amazing! I cannot recommend Dr Rimmington highly enough. I saw him in 2019 for a knee repair and the level of patient care he displayed was fantastic. This was coupled with resolving the issue I had with my knee which was caused by a previous surgery by another knee surgeon who had been the complete opposite of Dr Rimmington.

Dr Rimmington is a fantastic surgeon . Had a total shoulder replacement and couldn't be happier with the results .
I have also had 2 knee proceedures done and had extremely positive results with them also .
In addition to being a fantastic surgeon, Dale is also one of the nicest most caring people you would meet . I cannot recommend him highly enough and almost look forward to my knee replacement in the coming years !

Saw Dr Rimmington regarding ACL rupture. I am looking to go down the conservative route but wanted to hear all opinions. I found Dr Rimmington very empathetic and encouraging. He answered all my questions well and advocated for surgery without being too pushy. I found the session very helpful for gathering information from both sides to make an informed decision. Would absolutely recommend him!

Dale Rimmington is an excellent surgeon with a personal style that puts you at ease. With five procedures to be done in one operation on my shoulder including bone grafts and pins, I had great apprehension about how it would go and how much movement I would have afterwards. Three years later I can say that the surgery and post op care was great and with hard work on my part with the rehab I have a pain free shoulder and almost a full range of movement. I would highly recommend Dale to anyone.

Dr Dale was the only surgeon who knew my diagnosis and was proved to be the best in his field of expertise. His knowledge, care and ability is Australia's best for complex medical diagnosis in upper limb injuries in my case and treatment options. Dr Rimmington is both an incredibly talented orthopaedic surgeon and a genuinely lovely person - a rare find in the world of surgery. I am extremely happy with the outcome and overall management of my knee surgery (pre and post op) and very highly recommend his services.

I didn't even know you could review doctors. Dale Rimmington worked on my dodgy shoulder which had caused me grief for many years. I was told by many, how bad the post operation pain would be, how long the recovery would be etc. In my case, I had little pain, a quick recovery and have had no problem since. Dr Rimmington clearly did a great job.

Dr. Dale Rimmington has operated upon 3 members of my family presenting with complicated orthopaedic conditions two of whom have regained full functionality and the most recent is in the throes of recovery with a favourable prognosis. Friendly, professional, explained procedure well to me, rehabilitation was slightly longer for me but Dr Rimmington was very supportive.
