I was impressed how friendly and helpful the staff was in helping me find a present for my wife.

My other half loves this place she always find a nice dress to wear at a great price

I bought some costume earrings in this shop I never wore them, so when I took them out a few months later to wear them one earring was broken as seen in the photos. Took them back to the shop and was told I stored them the wrong way, I said I didn’t know there’s a proper way to store them and was never told how to store them when I bought them.
The lady refused to entertain me either with exchange or credit.
I will not be back.

I bought some cheap earrings on sale $100 for four pairs. However on leaving the shop a pair of studs (I’d just bought two pairs of these studs in different colours) had a gem fallen out on the table. I asked for a refund on my studs - I wanted to keep the other two pairs but lost confidence in the stud product. I was told I’d get a refund but I had to come another day because it needed to be done on the card I paid with and only the owner could do that.

I revisited the shop for a refund and there was a different shopkeeper who backtracked on what I was told and said the owner was unlikely to give a refund but I could try another day when the owner was in.

I could tell she was literally playing retail games to get me to leave it so no refund was given but I called in and checked when the owner would be there so I could be sure to get the $59 refund and wouldn’t waste anymore of my time. I was told after 10am the following day.

I arrived and the same shopkeeper that made a fuss was in there alone (I think she is the owner but was making out she wasn’t to avoid giving the refund). By this time one of the gems on the two pairs of studs had fallen out which was my fear and why I asked for a refund on the day I bought them. I hadn’t taken them out of the bag I bought them in!

She accused me of pulling it out and was attempting to use that as a reason she couldn’t refund them even though I explained I feared this was happened as I saw the same thing happen to a pair in store the day I bought them.

She also said she was going to call the police because I was rude both times she met me (no surprise I was stand offish - I’ve been told I’d get a refund made a special trip and am being met with new resistance from a shopkeeper that was clearly just trying to dodge the refund and get me to walk away with lame invalid excuses). I was confident the shopkeeper was being difficult to avoid a refund rather then there being any truth in me doing anything wrong that warranted the police being called and was tired of the ongoing situation and said ok do that then and we’ll resolve this today. Low and behold she didn’t call the police and gave me a refund.

What was most disturbing about the experience is that as she wasn’t successful in avoiding giving the refund because I stood up for myself she started to verbally abuse me and banned me from the shop (she probably took advantage of there being no one to witness her crossing the line with me)
She told me to crawl back out of the hole I came out from (I did give her some words back in a retaliation as I wasn’t going to simply accept her unnecessary harmful words and actions and she continued to accuse me of damaging her goods that were clearly simply faulty ! And perhaps not actually
swarovski !
Avoid this place and perhaps try Lovisa if you want affordable jewellery where the stones don’t fall out and you don’t suffer abuse and gaslighting from the staff.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT , Walking in to the shop at Main Beach , Princess Yasmin , to check out the jewelry which is advertised for 70%discount, costed me a personal insult, to say the least. The previous day we were in the shop as our overseas visitors wanted to have a look, and do a purchase , so the next day I decided to return, as I was telling a friend about some lovely pearl necklace, She was unable to come that day, so she asked me to see if I could take a photo and send it to her. As I walked in to the shop, from the back room emerged the ":Judge mental, not smiling middle aged lady" we sow the previous day also in the shop. Out of curtiousy, after saying hello and smiling at her, while I could see the non smiling , looking me up and down in a very "stuck up manner , not willing to help , I asked her would it be please possible to take A photo of one pearl necklace. The answer was ," we don't normally allow people to take photos" but will ask the owner/manager, but sure he will say no " Sure enough, the foreign appearance gentlemen came from the back, and in a very " stand offish way , but seemed knowledgeable "the day before " when we were holding out money in hand, told me, "no photo is to be taken, and if my friend wants to see it, she can have a look in Sydney where she is from, and purchase it for full price" I was very surprised and taken back with the luck of customer service from either of them, and treated with such a poor .attitude. All I did was ask, in a very friendly manner if i could please take a photo. Even when I was walking out, as the very unfriendly shop assistant was standing in a door way now, I just said, thank you, and by by. She just kept staring at me in a confrontational, stand offish manner. I am still in a shock, and as I was walking home the movie " Pretty woman " with Julia Roberts came to mind, when she walked in to a up market shop,in Rodeo Drive, and was being very un-welcome, and made feel as if she was just not good enough.
As a constant world traveler, I have been to many places,around the world , some a lot more " worldly " than " Princes Jasmine " shop in Main Beach QLD, and never ever received the " treatment with attitude " I was given this time. Visited nearly all the shops in Main Beach, Restaurants etc, and people in each and every shop are curtious , and welcoming, unlike at "Princess Yasmine "P.S After telling few people of my experience, few said, " maybe they are dealing with FAKE " products, and they were concerned!".My advice, don't bother going to Princess Yasmine shop at Main Beach, go elsewhere where u will be welcomed as a human being, and not as a "Jackpot " Machine!!!!"

Before purchasing I informed sales person I would have to try on at home and may have to return as I am in a wheelchair and unable to try on in the shop. Of course they refuse to refund. They are very nice during the sale but clearly they are discriminating and Refuse to follow legal trading procedures. LOST ME
