My first arthroscopy was 2019 on the left knee and second now on right in 2024.
Found a great surgeon who was very prepared from the moment I walked in for my first consultation. He is to the point, clear with expectations and understanding of what I was wanting to achieve.. pain free.
Surgery had no complications and healed extremely quickly.

I have no reason to question Dr Cameron Cooke’s expertise as an orthopaedist as I have only had one consultation;however my meeting with him was underwhelming to say the least-the man seems to lack any sort of warmth or empathy-in fact appears arrogant and although in his room for 10 minutes he was inching me towards the door as though he wanted to call “next”! I had a couple of queries regarding my knee but go hardly more than a nod and felt I would’nt get anywhere.suffice to say the man is rude and dismissive and the austere surroundings of his rooms reflect the manifyou glance at this Doctor,it would behave you to stop and realizethat very often the person who has been referred to you is on theother side of your desk feeling quite anxious and needing some advice.
Don’t take your brilliance for granted-there are other brilliant surgeons out there and we luckily can choose someone who makes our worrying journey to better health easier.

Iv had surgery 31 Times after a surgery on my femur after a compound fracture i developed golden staph and even when I told him and his team that the wound had a discharge without looking at it or hearing me out I was simply told I could go home in the next day or two and I kept telling him and his team about the discharge and it ended with my dressing being ripped off to show me nothing was wrong and was then told I had a infection and had to be taken for surgery the next morning Iv had ongoing trouble it's been 8 years and still having surgery and being refused medical certificates that last more then two days and even refused the type of certificate I need like one for Centrelink the team has left me with a broken femral nail with a piece in my butt cheek for 4 years iv woken up in ICU after a drill bit broke and I nearly bleed Out
