Shila Korean Restaurant

Maybe this place was bad years ago but my partner and I have been coming back to this place for the past year & a half and we love it. My partner says no other place compares to the meats here & this grill doesn’t have your meat sticking to the grill like all others. The staff are super accomodating & drop everything to clean the grill if they even see the slightest bit of charred meat stuck. Although the dining area could do with a bit of a reno, you’re not there to eat the seats and walls, you’re there to eat the food.

Easily the best Korean restaurant I've been to! I don't get why they get so many bad reviews. If you ask they will also let you play whatever music you want! Big Thumbs Up...and yes...I had a FOODGASM!

Dont know what they did to get such a poor rating but when i was there today for dinner, service and food was half decent.

Variety for the premium buffet ($45) may be small but in my experience, most korean bqq shops, especially buffets, only offers a few cuts of meats, in this case 5 types. The meat looks freshly prepared, meats were tender and flavourful through and through. Ask for the fresh garlic and the bean paste if not served, they have it.

Ventilation is definitely one of the things that people complain about, but to eat korean bbq in the comfort of air conditioning, it's a given.

Good service, good choice of meats/food.

There should be 0 star option because this place would get one from me. Terrible food terrible customer service staff no were to be seen. DON’T DO THERE FOR DINNER it will ruin your day.

Very poor service,and little kinds of food we can choose .
The first time we ask for some water,the old woman (seems like shop owner) said nothing,about 15 minutes the water comes finally
Second,nearly no staffs refill the food ,you can alway see the clear bottom of food containers.
Lastly.no matter how burnt your BBQ plates is,no one will change it for you,until you asked and a 20 minuets waiting

We should of trusted the reviews before we ate here. It's as bad as they say, first time we left because food was terrible, ate around 30% of what we ordered.

The two ladies working were very friendly though, but doesn't make up for the strange tasting meat. If I were to describe, the beef was unusually sweet

If I could give zero stars I would for this poor excuse of a restaurant. Walked in with my mother we were greeted with a “are you lost?” stare from the owner/worker Who looked Chinese not Korean I said “for two please” her response “uh you need to pay first” with the ugliest attitude. Place looked run down and tables looked like they weren’t cleaned properly, it was empty, I’d be careful eating here for hygiene reasons. Would not recommend PERIOD!

Dont no go here. Poor Exhuast. You cant breathe. Small selection of food. When we arrived it was empty, asked it to be refilled, They brought out one dish. Your knees can touch the bbq as you sit. Got a small burn. No theme at all. They make you pay upfront. Very poor effort.

Very little food, I came in around 7.30 and not much meat left already! The only vegetables are zucchini, salads, and kimchi! Also they dont even give customers water as they charge for the drinks. Should have checked the rating on google before I went there....

It is your restaurant made me feel disgusted about Korean food. Worst dining experience ever with any cuisine.
