Australia Post - Mareeba Post Shop

I'm giving this post shop a five-star review because of the man who was working behind the counter. He was bending over backwards to help a customer and the service that he was offering was first class. He was friendly and helpful and, apart from the general decor of the shop, serves to make this a great post shop.

Easy access. It is always very crowded.

Staff are rude.
Parcels are not reaching their correct destination and Australia post staff informed a family member- you don't need to write on each parcel a return address!!!
Go to Atherton Australia post everything reaches the correct destination. And the staff are more than willing to help every customer.

It is either Cairns or Marreba that are dreadfully slow with the parcels.. 3 days Syd - Cns (3000km) and 4+ days Cns to Mareeba (60km)... A rocket should be driven up both post offices employees you know what....

Rude staff seems to be a requirement for Australia Post in FNQ. TERRIBLE service despite trying to work with them.
