voco Gold Coast, an IHG Hotel

My recent stay from 5.3.2024 to 8.3.2024 at the Voco Hotel, Gold Coast was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the courteous and attentive front office staff, particularly Ms Sara, who went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Thanks to Sara's assistance, I was able to check in early and check out late, making my trip infinitely more convenient.
The highlight of my mornings was undoubtedly the excellent breakfast buffet. The variety of options available was staggering, and each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail. Whether I was craving something sweet or savory, there was always something to satisfy my palate.
In addition to the outstanding service and culinary delights, the hotel itself was a haven of comfort and luxury. My room was spacious, elegantly furnished, and impeccably clean, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the Gold Coast.
Overall, my experience at the Voco Hotel, Gold Coast exceeded all expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay on the Gold Coast.

One of the best places I've stayed on the gold coast ever.. and got it at a great deal for $125.
Room perfect.
Breakfast brilliant, transport right out the front. Nothings a hassle for the staff. There's nothing bad at all about this hotel at all. One tram stop to Cavill ave. 👌👌

Stayed 5 nights with daughter for birthday trip up from Sydney. Could not be happier with our stay - location, staff, service was super friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. We enjoyed daily drinks at Social House and indulged in Monday night pizza specials with Korean sweet & spicy sauce wings. We got the loveliest surprise on our second night with a beautiful cakes platter laid out for us in the room acknowledging my daughter’s 11th birthday. Thank you so much for an unforgettable birthday trip for my little girl!

We stayed here for a trip to the Gold Coast in mid-December, 2023 and were incredibly impressed with this hotel, especially considering the low price we paid at that time!
Right when you pull up, this place has curb appeal. It’s a massive, skyscraper-like building just a couple blocks from the beach and the lobby is something you would expect in a Vegas resort. Very impressive surroundings.
The rooms are beautiful, modern, with very comfortable beds and picturesque views (even with the cheapest room on offer, we were on I believe the 18th floor with a fantastic view of the Gold Coast even though we didn’t spring for the ocean view room).
The hotel is very centrally located, just a short walk to the beach and Surfer’s Paradise where all the shops, restaurants and nightlife is located.
On my next Gold Coast visit, this is where I’ll be staying!

I am impressed with Voco previously known as Watermark hotel. It is still maintained well after new management. The service was outstanding, had a faulty shower head, next morning at 7am the problem was instantly fix, the operator was responsive and attend to us immediately. The delivery for new towels and tooth brush was quick too unlike Crown plaza , which never picks up phone when calling operator, had to always go down and never gets delivered despite 2-3 times reminder. Anyway. Another story. But I can see the workers are diligent and happy to help in this hotel, such as Olivia in morning buffet, she attends to all jobs no matter big or small, before customers ask for spoon or knife, she gives it right away. The hotel is lucky to have hard working young staff members. Location no need to say, parking is convenient. The reception people makes check in and check out easy and smooth. Will definitely book again. Thank you

Absolutely stunning!

My partner and I were very lucky to stay at the voco for the past week and had an incredible stay. The rooms were lovely and stocked with plenty of cute and niche details that really set the voco apart from other hotels. Staff were all friendly and checked up on us frequently and the amenities were great! Breakfast was decent - but it lacked basics such as a barista! Other than that location was perfect and there was overall little fault in our stay!

This was a last minute idea to go to Surfers from Sydney and were very happy with our choice. Rooms are excellent; clean and good size. Facilities for eating and drinking brilliant. Location also good for us as it was a little out of the Cavil Ave area which is what we wanted for a bit of quiet, but was only a short walk there. Very happy

I stayed overnight at Voco and was amazed at how great it was! I had the king suite on the top floor on level 20. The Q1 is right across the road and the tram is down on the ground floor. There are multiple restaurants on site and plenty of other restaurants within walking distance. The beach is a minute walk away. There is a gym, conference rooms, laundry and two pools. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast which was included in my stay. The room itself is very spacious and had a small bar fridge, double bed, safe for valuables, hair-dryer and iron and ironing board, TV, shower ensuite, day bed, small table and chair and a phone for room service or qr code if you desired. I cannot find a single fault with voco aside from reception staff member appearing frustrated and fed up by my general questions about the hotel. Other than that I highly recommend family, couples and solo travellers to come visit you won't regret it!

This hotel is probably the best in this area that I've ever visited. As soon as we unpacked in our room, we went down to the little cafe and had the most delicious buffalo wings I've ever eaten before, and it was also a 10c deal which is extremely cheap. Then we went down to the beach which was a surprising 2 minute walk away. Beautiful scenery. As soon as we got back to the hotel, we had dinner, and then we ate the huge $84 tomahawk steak. Although it was a little bit expensive, it sure was delicious!

This location is fantastic, a very quick walk to the beach front and restaurants and it boasts a great view. Check in was easy enough, staff were decently friendly. The room was nice, very clean, and the soap/lotion smelled amazing (fig/feijoa). Parking garage was easy to access and had a lot of space available.

Nice property. Staffs were good. Hotel is just opposite to SkyPoint Observation Deck, tallest building with 322 meters height. Hotel is near Surfers Paradise beach. Breakfast was good.

There was a couple of issues but to my surprise the manager upgraded our room and we are very happy. The buffet breakfasts here are also beautiful. Would highly recommend this place for high service standards and customer rapport.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Voco GC. Firstly that kid area is the foyer is absolute GOLD! We had an interconnecting room on Lvl 19 which was fantastic and very spacious. Room were clean and fresh everyday. Breakfast options were top notch with so much to choose from. Highly recommend a stay here with the family.

It was so refreshing to get accommodation that ticked all our boxes, price was fair, the service from all the staff was absolutely 1st class professional service, the beds are sooooo comfortable , views from our room were breathtaking and a joy to lookout over the inner water inlets.
If you stay here I highly recommend the buffet breakfast, the food was fantastic and fresh with a huge choice of fresh food to satisfy any palette.
It is an ideal accommodation with the gorgeous beach within a short 2 minute walk and tram stop directly outside for easy transit along this beautiful coastal city.
5 stars simply isn't enough for the Voco and it's amazing staff that made our 4 day stay one of the best holidays my wife and I have ever had, thankyou everyone at the Voco 🥰

We booked voco through wotif i am impressed with the service. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good too.. Rooms and bathroom were cleaned.we had a pleasant stay. kids play area were big and clean.I would recomend this hotel those who are looking for good hotel. Price was reasonable as well.

best hotel that we could ask for! it makes us to lazy to strolling around at the tourist place we just slept all day because the bed is so so comfy! the room is so clean and we got the city view that also beautiful. wish we come back to this hotel in the next time 😍 thank you! we are so happy that we stayed in here for 4 nights. ups I forgot to take the room pics 😁

Ended up staying here after our other hotel turned out to be garbage. Super friendly staff and beautiful rooms. The hotel has a very good restaurant and a nice bar as well.

Great motel/hotel good clean rooms, fantastic restaurant and breakfast was a very good smorgasbord. Had some sliders and beer for a late lunch watching the AFL grand final. Highly recommended. Great view from our room.
