Merrimac Waste and Recycling Centre

I've been to this tip a number of times now, and the fellas there have always been so friendly, polite and helpful. They keep the place clean and running efficiently. A number of times they have come over to offer assistance lifting something heavy. I've got so much time and respect for the workers there. Keep up the fantastic work fellas, and thank you for being the absolute legends that you are.

I can’t believe the poor reviews, the staff here are polite, professional and the whole complex is efficiently laid out, the Council should be congratulated.

The Green waste area is large and well managed/tidy. I've never had to wait in line more than 1 vehicle. The staff are very pleasant and helpful e.g. gave me very detailed directions and instructions on how to dispose of my used motor oil correctly.

Love this place, easy to unload and friendly staff. I don't know what i would do without this facility in order to maintain my home

Awesome!!! It's simple, effective and the staff on site, whenever I have been, have been really nice and funny too :) I enjoy throwing away my trash the right way and also the steel section is way too much fun... You get to bang and crash it 's a great way to relieve tension!!!

Great accessibility, friendly staff. It's a privilege to have this service on the GC. The only disappointment was seeing unemptied garbage bags of greens, in the greens section where people were too lazy to remove the plastic! I doubt plastic is good as mulch! This laziness from people will ruin it for the majority of honest people using the service.

Staff are nice and helpful, very clear instruction for dumpling unwanted furniture.

Quick and rarely queuing. Good staff that don't interfere but helpful if needed. Good access. Dump bins always open for use.
