Positive Surfboard rental experience

Super friendly staff. The guy that was helping us had the coolest surf accent. It was like he put it on but it was cool.
Anyways we tried to hire a surf board for 7 days but there was none for our size.
Good place. I highly recommend.

In my opinion not the best place to rent a regular bike. They had a bunch of bikes that looked like your old aunt might like light blue with a basket and a light blue chain guard as I recall. I asked for one that an actual bike rider might like and they brought me this old rusted hunk of metal with no real gearing and really long handlebars. If I had only known that another bike rental was right around the corner I wouldn't have rented here. Around the corner seemed to have a better selection of actual bikes avid rider would like. I really cannot recommend this place for bikes seemed to be their sideline looked like they were more into surfing classes which is OK but nothing I can rate more than 2 stars.

Just don’t miss the prompt closing time, you’ll have to mind the boards overnight and be charged a fine when you come back the next morning! Felt like I was being held ransom so forgot to mention the reason I was late was because the first girl sized one of our wetsuits wrong and I had to go back to the shop for another one!

Softboard Surf Equipment was in terrible condition. The quality of the board and leash was very bad.

I absolutely do not recommend this store! They rent bikes that are in a pitiful state, when you ask to mount the saddle, they can't tighten the clamp on the saddle tube, so the saddle turns and falls off every 5 minutes.
Above all, if you ever want a lock or helmet for your bike, make sure you specify that you want one, because they won't give it to you.
Then we wanted to try out the masks and snorkels, but by the time I'd picked them up they were already full of sand everywhere, but when I left the store, the lady told me you wouldn't forget to clean them. In other words, they give them to you filled with sand, but you have to clean them.
The customer service is horrible, not a smile, not a pleasant look.
Now, once the equipment is returned, they charge us $20 because the mask and snorkels had sand on them.

Bought two goggles for me and my partner and they refused refund even though one of the goggles were faulty and leaking on one side. Would not recommend at all. Avoid this place it’s dodgy.

It’s the worth place for rent bike or equipment. The team is not pleasant. They rent bikes in terrible conditions, the mask and tuba dirty and ask $20 compensation for having given it back to them with sand in it… to avoid !

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE . Hired bikes, given a broken helmet (and being told didn’t have to take one or ride with one which is illegal) asked to sign a waiver that didn’t have the details of the Bike of what you were signing a waiver on, bikes not checked and then the tyres deflated. Took the bike back the guy didn’t want to change the tyre as he was finishing in 20 mins .... do not hire anything from here, other shops have better things to hire and have some form Of customer service.

Equipment was rubbish and staff are unfriendly. Save your money, go elsewhere.

Bought goggles from here yesterday for my daughter. They snapped within an hour of use. Refused to replace or refund. Accused me of tampering with them. Beyond appalled.

Rude and uncaring staff, especially compared to the other surf hire around here!
