I had the Chook 'n' Caesar burger and I have to say,

It was fantastic. The food was ready within five minutes, the chicken tasted great and the person who served me was polite.

Now, the only faults are that the chicken was a touch dry. Not to the point were the burger was unpleasant but still noticeable and that I feel they could give you some more chips with your meal. But other then that it was delicious and I will definitely be going there more frequently.

Great fish, good size portions and even better service. We only ordered the barramundi but will definitely order again to try something else. The delightful lady I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and patient, especially when I messed up our office address on Menulog and couldn't change it. The food arrived quickly and hot, and she followed up to make sure we got the food. Very impressed with everything.

This place is amazing! Ordered almost $300 worth of food for an event Me and my family had on Father's Day, and all the food was cooked of quality and perfection. If there's any event you need catering for, or just looking for a good bite to eat, these guys are definitely the place to go. 👌🏼

I'm a regular here.
What keeps me coming back is their quick service and mouthwatering food. Their menu is quite diverse and accommodates you whether you're keen for a large feed or just snacking.
I would definitely recommend their seafood products.

$7 fish burger with chips and a drink not bad for that price and filling unlike the more expensive rubbish fish burger meal from the Mcdonalds across.

Pros:
- Nice customer service

Cons:
- terribly dry chicken
- preheated chips (stale, tasteless and soggy chips)
- disgusting fishy taste from calamari, fish and prawn cutlets

Why does it not surprise me anymore the below Average quality of food that is served in takeaway eateries. This shop is no exception to the rule . They sell fried chicken but don't have any prices for the packs. They make up the prices as they go....a no no in my books. Let's talk about the food shall we. The fried chicken could have easily been cooked yesterday; it was so dry. Lets add no flavour to the chicken and dry as a bone. No KFC (yuck) around , I would not recommend anything from here. Came here a few times and the quality... What was left of it... has definitely gone down hill. Not surprised at all... time to cook at home.. cannot rely on outside food anymore.

bought food today as it was the last day of work. was such a big disappointment. chips look as if they had been recooked. dark brown full of oil etc. the fish was half cooked and tasted as if it had been in the freezer for a year or two, the prawn cutlet were cold dry and the calamari rings tasted like raw flour and not cooke the worst see food i have ever bought in sydney. you pay premium money to sold left over rubbish

I felt like some fish and chips so came to Fishing Chook with high expectation. Everything was precooked and displayed in the warmer cabinet. I got battered fish and chips, already know the price from the website however I asked how much and they told me $10.. I paid of-course no argument.. (Business Ethics is simply honesty is the best policy). The battered fish was no-longer crunchy but is now soggy and doughy, the crinkled cut chips were soft. Perhaps been sitting in the warmer a bit too long.. All the fish and chips shop I have been to always cook on the spot not pre-cooked like this. Anyways, the taste was well below average. $10 for fish and chips were over priced with the website menu suggested battered fish + chips $8.
