I have been here many times and the food and service is consistently good. This has been one of the longest restaurants in Gungahlin and it clearly shows why. The food came out fairly quickly and the service was friendly and helpful. Good servings as well.

I went to this restaurant a few days ago and had a really good experience.
When I and my friend came in, the chef at the bar and staff members welcomed us.
I tried their new menu, and all of them were amazing.
Yuzu salmon salad was our entree, and the salmon, cream cheese, and yuzu dressing went well together. It definitely increased the appetite.
I ordered two main meals, which are cheese pork katsu and soft shell crab roll. The pork katsu was filled with a large portion of mozzarella cheese, and I loved it so much. If you are a cheese lover, I strongly recommend this menu!!
Needless to say, the soft shell crab roll was so good. The size of roll was big enough to share.
I really enjoyed the food and will definitely come back again 😄

Absolutely loved coming back here, ordered the spicy sashimi Don, special maki sushi on the special menu, seafood yaki udon and kingfish and fried squid ring. Everything was so good and the staff were lovely. Highly recommend :)

One of the best places for traditional Japanese food in Canberra. It is reasonably priced and the seafood always tastes fresh. The menu is large and they do lunchtime bento boxes.

My personal favourite is the udon and sushi set - best of both worlds!

Love this place!!! Kokoro is our favorite to go sushi restaurant in Gungahlin. They have lots of different dishes to choose and they also have some lunch specials if you want to grab decent Japanese meals for your lunch! Nice atmosphere, friendly service and good food. The sushi and sashimi are really fresh whenever we order, love all the Udon noodle soups, recommend the deep fried cutlets(chicken or pork), also the special rolls.

9/10 Great experience at Kokoro! We ordered a variety of dishes and was surpised by the quality and portions that we recieved. The dishes were extremely well balanced, not too salty, yet extremely pleasing to the taste. I would highly recommend the chicken karaage curry for its rich flavour. The only improvement i would recommend would be to perhaps handle the yakiudon and teriyaki salmon over an open flame to bring out a smoky flavour. Wonderful effort Kokoro!

I have been regular since I had a spicy sashimi don which can remind my hometown. Their staff always provide good customer service as well.

Recently tried the Yuzu dressing salmon salad at Kokoro. It was absolutely appetizing and the combination of fresh salmon,cream cheese and zesty yuzu dressing was perfect. Loved their new menu.
The staff was friendly and he was making us feel welcomed.

Fantastic Japanese food at a reasonable price. I'm slowly working my way across the menu.

Best Japanese restaurant in Canberra!!

I wanted to try this place as I love ramen. The food was amazing and I was so satisfied with the efficient service, food came fast and looked and tasted so good. It was a fair price and the place environment and music was great. We will be back. Thank you 😊
