Coonabarabran Golf Club

Stayed in the free camp area, went to the club for a drink & dinner. Wasn't expecting too much, but to our surprise the Chinese meal was excellent, my very hard to please partner was really happy with his meal - must have been good. Staff & patrons of the club were friendly. Totally recommend.

We stayed for free as self sufficient campers. All they ask is that you pop in for a drink Friendly staff, warm comfy place, bar, attached restaurant (basic Chinese) but good meals. Everything was fine.

It is hot and humid at the moment but step inside the clubhouse and the Arctic blast will soon cool you down. The locals are friendly and the atmosphere is very inviting and the Chinese restaurant is to be tried tonight. Told by the locals that the Chinese restaurant is worth the membership fees so we will see. Camping here is self-contained as the clubhouse toilets close at closing times and everyone goes home.

Highly recommended camping here self sufficiently. Great peaceful spot. Nice quite club to enjoy a drink and the service and Chinese food was wonderful. Will camp here again

Great club with beautiful views of the course. Lots of wildlife and good prices. Free self-contained rv parking out the back.

This place is great huge area clean and tidy.
Stayed 2 nights had a beer first night and a meal in the Chinese restaurant the second. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay!! Thoroughly enjoyed our time free camping - playing golf 2 days using their hire clubs and cart. Great course and quite tight. The bar service was great and the restaurant served SUPERB meals!! DEFINITELY recommend!!

Stayed the night in our self contained caravan. All they ask is to visit the club house for a beer. It was a pretty cold day and wet day so instead of persevering on the road we pulled up here. Sat inside in the warmth, enjoyed a couple of beers, played the pokies and ordered Chinese. We've travelled a lot and have to say that this is some of the best Chinese we've ever had. Well worth the stop

People are very friendly and the service is very quick. The Chinese restaurant serve up large and delicious meals. I may be bias but it is my favourite club in the town.

Free camp behind Golf Club, only cost is go have a drink in their bar. Must be self sufficient as no power or water. A quiet nights sleep was heaven with no trucks rushing past

Quiet, clean and friendly FREE RV camping place. Nice Chineese Restaurant and cost effective drinks but be advised no power or water. Take your rubbish.

Quiet site, restaurant at the club was wonderful. Definitely a place we will visit again
