Sassafras House

I stayed here with my extended family over Easter 2023. This was my second time at Sassafras House. The house and its facilities are excellent. Plenty of space, great kitchen , well maintained and close to town.
The service from Jess was nothing less than excellent.

Highly recommended.

Adding a second review, after staying here again, this time for Easter 2023 with our extended family. Comfy beds, great kitchen for foodies and enough space to fit all the family around the table. Friendly and comprehensive communication from the hosts. We just love our home away from home. Robertson was lovely in the Autumn and we enjoyed local markets, bushwalks, waterfalls and general peace & quiet.

Jan 2021 - Such a wonderful intrastate holiday at Sassafras House for our our extended family of 10. Lots of space to gather or escape. This lovely house met all of our needs. Will definitely book again!

Best accomodation I have stayed in!!
Peaceful and tranquil. Manicured gardens.
The interior of the home was immaculate. Fresh smell as soon as you walk in. Everything inside the house was sterile clean.
Massive spacious bedrooms. Plenty of living areas and a perfectly laid out yard and patio.
Nothing has been spared - loved my peaceful getaway, felt like I was in heaven.

We had our daughters wedding in Robertson on Friday June 3rd 2022 and wanted a place for our family to gather and stay for a few days before and after the wedding. Sassafras house certainly ticked all the boxes. The ability to have all 16 family members in one house meant more time together and we could recover and relive the wedding occasion before heading home. The facilities are great and the living spaces big enough for all of us.......would stay again and would highly recommend to other families. Glenn

Thank you for your lovely home. We had our family of 12 stay for my birthday and everything was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the house with everything we needed available. As the rain fell and the wind blew we were comfortable inside in all rooms with plenty of space for us all. Firewood ready, heating, rugs and comfortable couches to help us spend time together. A great weekend away with fond memories made for my special day. Thank you.

I booked Sassafras House for 6 days in early Feb to accommodate a number of family members that were travelling from overseas (including Canada & Ireland) to attend our sons wedding in Bowral region. All visitors throughly enjoyed the house and its amenities and commented on how much they enjoyed a very comfortable stay.
The living and dining areas are very spacious and well equipped. Kitchen provided ample working area for food preparation and great fridge freezer. The 12 seater dining table ensured that there was lots of "elbow room" during meal times. Sleeping accommodation was comfortable with spacious bedrooms and comfy beds. The large TV lounge was utilised by a number of the visitors. The small children were delighted with the well equiped playroom and wonderful garden where a cricket area was soon in place. Jess and Glen (though we never met) felt more like friends in their dealings with us. A wonderful place to stay.

Fantastic accommodation. Everything you could want in a large house for short or long term rental.

This was a lovely stay in January with myself and 15 other friends who were having a school reunion. There was plenty of space to sleep, cook, and have a (low-key) party :) Robertson also has plenty to check out and you're within striking distance of all of the tourist attractions of the Highlands, such as Jamberoo and the Illawarra Fly. This is probably one of my most memorable trips ever and I'm glad that Sassafras House was so accommodating.
