I enjoyed my stay and meal at GP Fairfield.
Staff are so nice and pleasant. Hospitable and very accomodating. The food is great. Authentic Laos Thai Cuisine. Perfect for family get-together events.
Street parking is only the available parking space 2P and 1/2P. But you can park free after 6pm.

We were recommended Green Peppercorn by a friend; one of the best recommendations we’ve had. Really fresh, tasty and authentic Lao and Thai dining. We judge a Thai restaurant by the quality of their signature dishes, like Green Curry, Salt & Pepper Squid, and Thai Fried Rice. Green Peppercorn hit these out of the park, but the absolute stand out dish is the Soft Shell Crab. It’s beautifully crunchy on the outside with silky soft flesh underneath. Well-priced, a good vibe, and the meals come out quickly. The only negative is getting parking can be a struggle; but it’s worth the walk if you can’t get close.

In an unassuming building inside Fairfield Hotel, is a hidden gem.
Pork knuckle soft meat falling off the bone, I only had to use the knife once whereas the skin was crunchy with oil pocks popping in my mouth.

Completely full I slowly made my way over to the creme brulee, my tastebuds keen for more action. Caramalised top of the pandan, mmmhhhmmm.

Vieng, she did a wonderful job of hearing me over the noisy banter from neighbouring tables.

From 6pm, I walked in and the seating was half filled, booths are soft and spongy comfortable. Service was fast.

Toilets are clean.

Me and my family had a great time eating here. The atmosphere was extremely friendly and had an authentic Laos feeling. There are multiple decorations that really make the delicious food stand out.

There is also a wide variety of food options to choose from that suited both me and my family's taste. The staff was also extremely friendly and accommodating.

Highly recommend for those who want to be gifted with delicious Laos and Thai food.

Food was awesome. We had the tripe salad, quals, dried beef and crispy noodles. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Fruit smoothies were a great treat on this hot day also.

Awesome restaurant with a fantastic family atmosphere. Our favourites were the Snapper with Mango salad, Salt and Pepper Prawns, Beef Larb and the Fried Ice Cream. The service was friendly and unbelievably fast - all our food came out like in less than 10 minutes. We will definitely be back again soon! Highly recommended!

Everything about this place was lovely. Had the best time out last night with the girls and have nothing but praise & appreciation for the food, service and staff here.

Came for Mother’s Day. Food came out pretty quick considering it was busy. Dishes were great with good flavours. Service was good as well. The staff would check if we were missing any dishes

My favourite go-to Thai/Lao restaurant. Excellent service by the friendly, lovely staff. Portions are large and perfect for sharing (or to have all to yourself). Their menu contains a huge selection of flavourful savoury food and mouth watering desserts. For mains, the noodle dishes are the best in my opinion, such as the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. Every dish tastes authentic and is extremely satisfying. My personal favourite is their signature fried ice cream (which is the real reason I come here).

Just one thing - the food doesn't come out all at once, or in any particular order (e.g. entrees first, then mains), so you really don't know what you're going to start off with. And it can take a long while for food to arrive when it is very busy.

Staff are always friendly and accomodating. Always come here initially to get the crunchy rice salad. Literally fried rice that is so crunchy. Highly recommend. Have also tried the curry, fried quails and their jackfruit smoothie. Did not disappoint. Very spacious in the restaurant and well decorated, including the bathroom. Very clean. So good that even though the Blacktown location was closed, and much closer to home, we still will travel here when craving the rice salad 😁

Great experience from Green Pepper Corn. I usually go for a standard Pad Thai but the menu was too good to miss out on. Serving size is generous for what you pay for and the staff are polite and attentive. A must try is the pork belly, the green peppercorn stir fry and the delicious fried ice cream. Happy eating folks.

What an incredible dining experience! I normally am not a fan of Thai food and reserve pretty heavy critique as I normally find it too sickly sweet (suits the western palate I guess). However, I was so pleased that our to bring our family to Green Peppercorn.

First of all, the guy behind the counter was a legend for ACTUALLY policing covid19 check ins and made no reservations in filtering out anyone who hadn't signed in properly.

The food is on point. Like I eluded to, the food isn't too sweet and oily which I prefer and appreciate (if you like sickly sweet, then you can check out any of the hundreds of other Thai restaurants for your sugar hit). I HIGHLY recommend the ox tongue as it's so tender here compared to other places. I didn't take any photos unfortunately. Another must try is the Crispy Snapper and Mango Salad. Those who are paranoid of bones need not worry. Because we didn't feel like we just ate a block of sugar for dinner, it actually made dessert enjoyable!

The staff were incredibly helpful. We mistook one of the cleaners as a wait staff and when we made request to order additional menu items, he had no qualms in taking on our requests to the kitchen.

I hear so many people go on about is Holy Basil is the pinnacle of Thai Food. I scoff at those remarks. I will choose Green Peppercorn over Holy Basil 10 times out of 10.

I dined in tonight and tried a few dishes. Chili basil fried rice was flavorful and i enjoyed it, not overwhelmingly spicy. Roast duck red curry was very nice, curry had good flavor and duck was tender. Ox tongue was nice too. Laos sausage had good texture and the flavor of the herbs was nice. Highlight for me was the deep fried ice cream, crispy and was perfect. Lovely butterscotch sauce and toppings to go along with it. My favorite dishes were roast duck red curry, Laos sausage and deep fried ice cream.

Highly recommend this restaurant.
I have been back multiple times because the food is just so so good!
The prices are really reasonable and servings are pretty good too.
Service is great, can be a bit noisy but hey it’s a restaurant.
10/10 will be back.

We got invited here for a birthday celebration. Near the train station and has huge space for big gatherings. The interiors are quite fascinating — they even have a tuktuk! More importantly, the food didn’t disappoint!

The food was amazing - recommended to me initially as keto friendly. I had the ox tongue, pork belly and calamari. Hubby had massaman beef Curry. The service and environment was really lovely, prices were fairly good too. Loved it and will go back :)

Best Thai Restaurant in Sydney! The Fried Ice Cream is to die for! Mango Crispy Snapper is the best!
