Great big portions and delicious food. Interior decor is really not great, probably needs a good clean too. Pick up is 10% off if you don't want to dine in.

It sits above a Chinese grocery and some tables actually give you a view of people shopping. I'm not sure why it is a draw card, but the people-watching is fabulous.

We had the duck pad thai and Massaman lamb, generous portions and really delicious
I've also had the beef salad from them before and it's a great buy, plenty of meat alongside the greens.

This is our new favourite local Thai restaurant. Good value, lots of veggies, delicious and not heavy on MSG. Service is very good too. We enjoy our meal every time. Thank you!

Authentic thai food. Celebrated one of our birthdays here recently with family and friends. We were there 2 months back also and enjoyed the dishes . Loved the food. The Indian wait staff girl and the owner of this place are very friendly. There was some miscommunication from our end about one of the whole fish fry dish and the owner didn't charge us even though we insisted her. Great family owner business and would be our go to place for thai food

Chang Thong Thai is one of the best Thai restaurants I have ever dined at, and is my absolute local go to. Kelly the owner is extremely friendly and is a skilled chef, being known in her past for her work with stir fries and noodles. On multiple occasions has brought out complimentary snacks and even desserts out to myself and other customers. How many places in Sydney do we experience that? Enetha and the other wait staff are very friendly and the other chefs in the kitchen are the same and are very skilled in their craft. The prices and portion sizes are excellent, and the place just has a local feel that you want to support. Thanks for the service Chang Thong Thai. Legends.

One of the best thai restaurants around we had chicken skewers which was moist and crunchy at the same time and the lemon sauce was sublime. The beef in black bean was also yummy along with the spring rolls 😋 5STARS

I just love their food. It's tasty, fresh and cooked healthy way. Every time I ordered takeaway, they cooked my food as per my choice and it was always tasty. Price is very reasonable too. I've been to many Thai restaurants in western Sydney and found this one is one of the top. Kelly Gold is amazing. Her friendly, smily manner attract customers easily. I'm very happy and recommend others. Wish their all the best.

Amazing service. We get takeaway from here often and the staff on the phone always brightens my day with their friendliness. Food is quick, good value, and very tasty. Flavours are authentic, serving sizes are generous, and there is a good mix of ingredients in the curries and stir fries. The thai papaya salad is my go to, as well as any of the curries. Wish they were open for lunch, but they only service dinner.

A surprisingly good Thai restaurant. I ordered the takeaway ox tongue and BBQ chicken and it was delicious. Chicken was juicy and ox tongue was marinated and cooked perfectly. Location is quite hidden but glad I found this gem in Blacktown. I say their food quality rivals some of the more famous Thai and Laos restaurant in cbd

They taste like mum cook at home yummy,spicy and authentic. It is one of best Thai restaurant with good food and price. It'gem in Blacktown!

Just had them for the first time and I must say it was very delicious.
The chicken wings were the best chicken wings my wife and I have ever eaten.

Food was amazing, seemed a bit understaffed, there was a lot of customers. Myself and other customers had bit of a wait for food but appreciate the friendly for staff doing their best!

Food was awesome, serving is huge and very affordable. Fresh ingredients and tasty. The owner is lovely. I love the thai fried rice, crying tiger, papaya lao salad, fried baramundi with spicy sauce, beef salad and my fave fried ice cream! The place gets busy with menulog and pick ups so theres so much room for dine in. I will come back for sure.

This is the best Thai I've tried in a very long time. The menu is awesome, food is always fresh and hot. Be sure to try the spring rolls and coconut rice with your curry dish. This is our new favourite Thai in the west. Love. Love. Love. (Insert thumbs up and smiley face here)

This is my favourite Thai in Australia! The food is honestly some of the best you will ever taste!! The panang and the chilli basil stir fry are a couple of my favourites but honestly, I've tried so much of what they have on their menu and everything is absolutely incredible. You can't make a wrong choice here.
Also the owner is probably one of the kindest women I have ever met! She is always so excited to see us, she always comes to chat to us when she gets a chance in between orders and is genuinely interested in us and our lives. She feels a lot more like a friend than just someone serving our food and we always walk away feeling so full, both physically and emotionally.
I love going to eat here whenever we get the chance. It will forever be a favourite of mine and I'm sure you will love it too!

Have recently started using menu log and was looking for a local restaurant we could order regularly from. We were not disappointed when trying Chang thong Thai Lao!, they always include a few freebies, but the last time we ordered I had forgotten to add spring rolls, they surprised us by adding them in for free !, I have gotten a few friends to order from here and everyone has agreed this is the best Thai food we have ever tried ! Thankyou so much for the kind gestures and amazing food! Will continue to buy from here !

Every meal was absolutely amazing and the staff were excellent and friendly. We also got a 15% discount which is a promotion they've has lately. Will come back again.
