The Pelican Place - Gungahlin

Expectations were exceeded!
The little bruschetta balls were far better than we thought they’d be!
The carbonara was the best we’ve ever had! Very creamy, loaded with bacon
And the parmi was great!
Greta value for money too with big portion sizes! We will definitely be back 😁

Excellent food. Menu is extensive and offer varieties of modern cuisine to a particularly high standard. Definitely fine dining. I had smashed avo which was worth it and they do different deals as well it’s worth checking them out for breakfast, lunch and dinner or even small functions. Must visit.

I’ve tried several dishes from this place and it’s delicious and fresh every single time! Highly recommend!!

My first ever meal and Coffee at this venue was utterly mindblowing! Just as I promised to the Staff at The Pelican Place just a few hours ago I rate 5 stars due to the amazingly delicious and cheap chips but by far the best was their coffee!

I asked them to make sure there was no froth on my coffee and low and behold with no messing about they hit the nail on the head (unlike other Cafe places that mess it up)

My next visit will sure to be soon and as I said I will order a beer which I am 1000% sure will be the best beer I have ever had in Canberra (can't wait to find out!)

Outstanding job to all staff at The Pelican Place!

I’m definitely a regular there. The steak in Pelican is the best. Today I ordered something else but I think the staff heard the wrong thing or I heard the wrong thing when she repeated. But anyway I felt sorry when the meal came to me was wrong and I had to ask for a new one.. But the staff wasn’t upset at all and just told the chef to remake the food.. I usually don’t do this kind of things because I know sometimes customers sucks and I hate being an annoying customer. But anyway I appreciate their good service all the time and I’ll keep being a loyal customer. Hope the restaurant becomes better and better and the staff there have a nice day!

We had my son's first birthday at the pelican place and it was incredible! Everyone there absolutely enjoyed themselves. The food was exceptional. The staff were so accommodating. I cannot recommend them enough for your next event. Any event we have to hold, we'll definitely be using the Pelican Place. They also do a great dinner as well! Thank you everyone at the Pelican Place!

Had a great time celebrating my son's birthday at the Pelican Place Gungahlin. The staff were very helpful and the food was amazing!! Was so easy to work with the venue and with no booking fees it was very affordable!
Also a great spot for good food any day of the week :)

We enjoyed our meal here so much! The staff here were super friendly and accommodating to our table's dietary requirements. They patiently went through the whole menu with us and explained what was safe and what could be altered. We stayed a while after we finished our meal just people watching and sipping on our chai lattes and didn't feel pressured.

The Pelican Place is a must visit if you are visiting or live in Canberra, ACT. The staff are very friendly and attentive, the meals are absolutely fantastic in portion, taste and presentation. The staff were more than acommodating for our special needs children and the prices were very reasonable and fair. Do your self a favour and pay a visit. I had the chicken parmigiana and it is the best I have ever had (I have had a few). You won't regret your choice to visit this fantastic eating place

I've been to the Pelican Place a couple of times now with my partner and mum, and have thoroughly enjoyed our meals both times.

Very nice coffee and hot chocolate. Definitely recommend the Fettuccini Carbonara, the Crispy skin Salmon and the Quinoa Salad

Veggie Burger was delicious, chips were perfectly deep-fried.
Staff were very well mannered and obliged my alternate milk request for the milkshake.

We were so impressed with the food here. We had dinner for two last night (Friday night) and were served to promptly, staff were friendly and helpful. Most importantly the food was delicious! Exceeded our expectations. Prices are great too. We will be back.

Fabulous service, coffee and one of the best breakfasts I have had. We were a table of eight and even though they were flat out with a full house we were served in a very reasonable timeframe. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone

Phenomenal! I had the Pelican Classic Wagyu Beef Burger and it was so very tasty. The chips were also tasty and the coffee was good. I highly recommend this place.

Just enjoyed a lovely salmon dish from the new menu. I have here many times, and never disappointed. Highly recommended.

Beautiful food. The steak was cooked to perfection and everything tasted so fresh. Restaurant was pretty clean and tidy. Would love to visit again surely.

Tasty burgers, fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked. Tried the Wagyu and the chicken and they were delicious. Friendly staff, will come again.
