Jess and Amanda form an incredible team, ensuring a flawless experience from bridal trials to the wedding day. Their professionalism and calming demeanor put me, my mum, and mother-in-law at ease, setting the perfect tone for the day.

Monna did an excellent job with my hair, especially as this was my first time dyeing it. She gave great direction and advice out what we could do and what would be best based on my reference pictures and my hair canvas with her experience. The colour came out exactly as I wanted.

All the staff were friendly and attentive, constantly checking if I was okay or hungry. Everyone worked cohesively and you could tell that they all really enjoy their jobs and are more like family than coworkers.

Would definitely recommend to anyone dyeing their hair for the first time and wanting to ensure that they get quality work done.

Absolutely loved Monna's service yesterday. She fixed the work of my previous hairdresser (before and after photos attached -- I have strong Asian hair and my last hairdresser couldn't achieve global lightening). There were no promises made that couldn't be achieved and she surpassed my expectations. I was surprised at the detail she remembered from our initial consultation since I just wanted confirmation that she could do what I wanted. I fully expected to have to remind her what I wanted again but that was not the case. The third photo (burgundy) is what I showed her at my consult and the fourth attachment (mahogany) is what I showed her on the service day. The last attachment is a more casual result photo under indoor lighting featuring my face. It was also taken after spending a couple of hours in windy weather. Monna made me feel very comfortable despite me not having coffee and not feeling chatty. It was a very informative experience, and she was down-to-earth and approachable. I'm very tempted to make Ultrafade Guildford my regular hair salon, despite living over an hour away (I can't drive). Absolutely worth the money, the wait, and the time spent!! ❤

EDIT: Probably worth mentioning that for the first time, I feel pretty good about how I look wearing my glasses with lenticular lenses. Now I can feel comfortable and secure without my contact lenses!

One of my best friends booked Jess + assistant Amanda for 6 people for the bridal party. Not only did Jess come at 0130, she came well presented, professional and not one word of complaint came about the dreadful time. Jess was very easy to talk to and clearly very knowledgeable about hair. It was easy to trust Jess's expertise as she takes time to ask pertinent questions about hair type to ensure the best results! See picture below, From 0130 toll 2300 my half up/ down sitch lasted me through windy outdoor settings to 155bpm techno dancefloor hits at the end of the night! 10/10 for this lovely hair technician!

Staff are very welcoming and friendly, demonstrating an impressive level of professionalism and attentiveness. Rich, who provided my cut and styling, showcased his remarkable talent and expertise in the field. I am super pleased with the outstanding service provided.

Saw Christine on my recent visit there and she did such a phenomenol job, walked out feeling like a million bucks. It's really hard to get an appointment with them but I now understand why, at first I wanted a colour but instead of just going ahead with it they took the time to do a test strand and it broke and didn't turn the colour that I wanted so we discussed other options instead. They really do care for their client and their hair. Highly recommend this place

I absolutely loved the service at Ultrafade Guildford. Mona did a fantastic job with the hair cut and colour. I asked for blue black, and got exactly what I wanted. Mona will be my go to hairdresser 😊

The team are awesome! Shout out to Jess, John and Cat for serving me on the day. Jess provided a consult before she worked on my hair and we talked through what I wanted vs what was possible with the state my hair was in. Extremely professional staff who clearly love their jobs and are passionate about providing great service. Would 100% recommend if you want people who are great communicators and will look after you and your hair.

I went for a consultation thinking my hairdresser didn’t do a good job, instead of letting me think that and trying to make a sale and putting down another hairdressers work, they were honest and said there was really nothing wrong and explained things to me that I thought was wrong but in reality it was perfectly fine. Will definitely come back to get a haircut soon.

Excellent service. My hair got washed, massaged, blow dried & then straightened so Jess could do her magic and cut my hair! Then she curled my new style to compliment it even more! Super happy with this hairdresser.

Got hair and make up done by Amanda for my hens and it was so good. I received so many compliments on the day. I definitely will book her again next time.

I went for a free consultation. Was given a lovely coffee. Had my expectations delicately managed, as my hair is very fragile from previous bad work in Goldie. Strand test done. I was called later in the day and advised to grow my hair out for a while more. I am happy I chose a real salon for my hair assessment. There are so many shoddy ones out there

I had the pleasure of getting my hair coloured, cut and styled by Rich and the team today and WOW I was sooooooo happy with the result!! It was the best experience I’ve ever had at a hair salon. My hair turned out exactly how I wanted and it was so nice to be surrounded by so many positive and inspiring people. 100% worth the money. It is a bit pricey but i know that i can trust them completely with my hair. I had chris bleach and colour my hair. i went from virgin hair (with bit of permanent colour on the ends) to a beige blonde.

Very happy with the results. hair was not too damaged after 3 rounds of bleach. Very happy with the cut too! The colour has faded out well. I get so many compliments on my hair too!

The staff are super friendly and service is great. They offer to make you coffee or instant noodles if you're hungry. Parking is great there. Would definitely recommend checking this place out.

I had the barber bleach done with Toohie and my experience was incredible! She was very hospitable, accomodating, and very knowledgeable about every single step of the process we were on. They also have complimentary beverages and foods, nothing too big however since you’d be here while waiting for your hair to do its thing, but it’s a service I’ve not seen in any other hairdresser ever. Throughout the entire procedure, she ensured that I was satisfied and informed about what she was doing, and it was extremely reassuring. Other staff had also given their thoughts about it all in the middle of it and that was also great to hear. I had a regular haircut a few weeks later and i felt that she was just as accomodating as well, so much as to provide me with a nourishing hair repair treatment before I get trimmed up. Will definitely continue make the effort to come to this place even if it 40+ mins away, and highly suggest everyone give this place a try :)

Absolutely loved Ultrafade and the team! I got my hair done last week and had a vague idea of what I wanted. However the team gave me a lot of knowledge about why they thought it wasn’t best for my hair as it would damage it. So I didn’t really know what to do, we had to slowly build up the bleach in my hair to get what I wanted. But honestly I loved the hair colour they did for me instead and realised how much it suited me instead of the colour I was going to ask for.
10/10 service. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff! Yes, it’s a little pricey, but your paying for their skills and their service, you can tell the staff have been through a lot of training and it pays off. Definitely sticking with this place 😊

Ultrafade provides an amazing experience! I’m quite a newbie to getting my hair done, and Rich and his team were so helpful, patient and friendly! The place was very welcoming and I absolutely loved my hair! I will definitely be going back!
