Atlantis Beach Baptist College

I strongly advise against considering Atlantis Beach Baptist College for your children's educational needs. Our experience with the College has been deeply distressing, resulting in formal complaints being lodged with multiple government organisations including NGSR (Department of Education) and the Minister for Education. This is primarily due to the inadequate leadership, numerous policy and privacy violations, and the deplorable treatment my children endured whilst attending the college.

The school's leadership has demonstrated a lack of competence and ethical conduct, necessitating a comprehensive overhaul from the highest levels down. Only through such a transformation can the school hope to regain the trust of the community and address the concerns of the many students, parents, and teachers who have left and continue to leave in substantial numbers.

Regrettably, the board appears to perpetuate these failures and breaches, choosing to conceal issues instead of confronting them, ostensibly to safeguard their financial interests within the group of schools they own and manage. The emphasis seems to be on filling seats rather than fostering a supportive, caring, and high-quality educational environment for our children.

In light of these significant concerns, I strongly urge potential parents, students, and teachers to explore other educational options that prioritise student well-being, educational development, ethical leadership, and a nurturing atmosphere for all.

The lack of support the children and staff have received since the school shooting is absolutely disgusting.
Someone, somewhere must look into this.
Putting bandaids on problems like seems to be the norm here doesn't work.
The children and staff deserve better leadership.
The local public school are far better which is a complete shame because it has potential just dreadful leadership.

My cousins have both attended and both them along with my aunt and uncle have had a complete lack of support from the staff in the matter of student bullying. I complete shake up is needed there to protect vulnerable children being hurt by other children.

My kids have not even lasted a full term at this school. Last day is Friday it's been nothing but a waste of time and money. Do not recommend.

Can see why an ex student would want to come to the school and shoot it up.
