Yanchep Veterinary Hospital

I cannot thank and praise all the staff at Yanchep Veterinary Hospital enough! This afternoon our beloved 12 year old cat Duke became ill, very suddenly, and after ringing 4 other vets in the local area who couldn’t see him, watching him rapidly decline whilst making phone calls to try get him into a vet, these guys didn’t hesitate to say “bring him now, we’ll see him”!!

It was about a 15 minute drive and they were waiting at the door when we arrived and immediately took our cat through to triage and took us and our children to a private room while they assessed him. It became clear very quickly that he wasn’t going to make it and we were invited to come say our goodbyes. The genuine compassion we felt from every staff member there did not go unnoticed. We are so shocked at how quickly it all happened but so grateful to the vet and veterinary staff that cared for our beloved pet in his final moments. Thank you 🙏🏻

The vet took care of my Golden Retriever Alan like it was her own, even researching new medication that could assist.

I just wished to share my positive experience of Yanchep Vet Hospital upon visiting this morning.
I had arranged an appointment at short notice due to my greyhound experiencing gastro issues. The counter staff were more than helpful, helping me to get my nervous girl inside. Sam assisted further by allowing us to use a private room until our vet, Dr. Emerald, was available.
Dr. Emerald was patient and kind, treating both my girl and I very professionally and with a caring demeanour, offering both reassurance and practical strategies to deal with the presenting issues.

Excellent customer and animal service. I have been going there for years now. Staff is very friendly, inviting and helpful.

Our dog has been going to Yanchep Vet for a few years on Monday had lipomas removed the care and attention he got was amazing (just like every visit) I knew dropping him off he was in the best hands and would be looked after like one of their own pets. They called Tuesday twice to make sure he doing ok offered reassurance and support. He is doing 100% better even if he is sulking at wearing the “cone of shame” ha ha.

The team at Yanchep Veterinary Hospital are great. This is my first dog which I decided to get after my wonderful wife of many years recently passed and went to the Lord. So this little girl (Rahab), has become a very important part of my life and I needed to be certain about the Vet and research them accordingly. Thanks guys for your recent help.

Awesome experience, my little Fur baby was well looked after in an expert fashion, they were prompt, caring, professional, curtious & pleasant. Lana was up & about in no time after her surgery with zero complications. Highly recommend Yanchep Vet! 😀

I've never been here I just used the shade you see at the front door to park & change my tyre as I got a screw in it, but I'm sure it's a nice place.

Update its been years since initial review but I'm still consistently impressed.
Disclaimer - having worked in the veterinary industry for twelve years, I was lucky enough to have Dr Sam involved in my initial training as a vet nurse (over twenty years ago) and sought her out 6 years ago when my parents elderly dog was having complex health issues.

I still struggle to find another veterinarian as knowledgeable across so many chronic and complex disease processes, and I've worked with a number of very talented vets.

Very excited that all radiology is now digital (hard to explain the diagnostic difference in quality if you haven't worked in radiology.)

Dr Sam is able to find solutions to problems that have evaded other vets, and find lowest risk, highest benefit and cost-effective treatment; discussing her reasoning clearly. She's ahead of most vets in medications and treatment protocol innovation, and I've used her suggestions for regional Vet clinics we've visited.

We have nothing but the highest praise for all of the team at Yanchep Veterinary Hospital, our beloved Spoodle Shiloh was off colour and definitely showing signs of being in pain, Sam and the team quickly discovered a cracked tooth that had developed an infection resulting in an abscess under his left eye, he was quickly and efficiently treated at a reasonable cost. Including followup medication and a phone call a couple of days later to see how he was doing, followup visit revealed all is healing very well, we highly recommend these guys

Sam and the staff at Yanchep Vet Hospital are just amazing, and I feel completely at ease knowing my pet will always receive the best care. Sensible advice, efficient, friendly and very professional.

Excellent experience taking our dog here for the first time. We were unable to get him in to two other vets he has been to around our area in Alkimos and these guys squeezed him in, which we were very grateful for. The vet and admin were helpful and pleasant and it was far more affordable than we have had to pay in the past. Great place and we will be returning even though it’s a 15/20 min drive away.

Excellent service. From reception to Sam the Vet. My wife and I found her to be very informative and very helpful. We were made to feel very welcome along with our new pup, Daisy.

I absolutely love all the staff at yanchep vets, I always feel so welcome and my dogs always feel loved when visiting.
Sam with the rottwilets is absolutely amazing, especially today calling me while my rottie was in surgery to discus something, made me feel so amazing, an put my mind at ease.
Also the lovely reception staff texting me to let me know my baby's surgery went well and she is now recovering, that also made me feel amazing.

The most welcoming, understanding and professional veterinary practice we've been to. We can not thank all of the staff at Yanchep enough. Even on a Monday morning when the phones are ringing off the hook the staff are so welcoming. Sam always takes the time to listen to our concerns. Highly recommend!

True care and compassion that so many other vets lack. Can not fault the practice. Wish we moved over to them sooner - we might have still had our baby girl with us if we did. Always leave feeling well informed and know that our babies are in excellent hands who will go above and beyond to ensure they are healthy well taken care of.
