The set up of the outdoor seating area is very thoughtful and nice, and 'Seeing is believing. The Bolt coffee beans are used to make home coffee. It is so wonderful in autumn to enjoy the morning sun and receiving a cool breeze when a cup of hot coffee is near your mouth and nose. Looking far to the Railway Square open space and the peaceful scene, joining the quiet environment, is so fabulous. Blessed to whoever receiving the love in this gifted land. Cheers!

Very nice staff. My kid spilled the coffee over him and broke the mug. They gave us a cup of coffee free and didn't want us to pay for the broken mug. One of the lovely staff said that just accident, no problem.

Visited Sid & Phyllis for breakfast, ordered the The Stack with a latte. Great service. They went out of their way to assist with swoping out items for me. The food was fantastic. Staff were very helpful. Will definitely be back for more of this wonderful food and friendly service.

A lovely cafe with delicious coffee and unique atmosphere. 🥰 The staff is always welcoming and quite often you’ll find the lovely owner Jayde behind the coffee machine or counter.
They also recycle their coffee grounds so you can have your caffe fix guilt free. ☕♻

This has to be one of the hidden secrets of midland. Squirreled away in the old train yards is this beauty of a cafe. Great service, coffee, food and prices. Went there the other day and me wife and I has the best pancakes ever. Nice thick Dutch style ones with unique flavours. The place is owned by a young couple and you can see they have put a lot of work into getting it going. Couldn't recommend it higher.

I still dream about this brekky we had at Syd & Phyllis. Put on virtual weight just thinking about this. We've been there a couple of times and it has a friendly cosy atmosphere. A delightful cafe in a great location with nice coffees.

Beautiful friendly staff, love the options, they have specials!! (when I was there was a Sunday morning--Beef brisket 🥰) and the hot chocolate was amazing, with toasted marshmallows!! Whattttt!!😋😊
On the menu they have options for vegans and of course the gluten free option!

Just finished the best breakfast I have ever been served......seriously amazing !!!! I had already eaten breakfast plus a snack so this was really second breakfast. Foodies out there I am sure you understand what I mean. Don't miss out on experiencing the crispy yet fluffy polenta pieces, melt in your mouth haloumi, sweetness of warm cherry tomatoes, chargrilled broccolini, magnificent mushrooms, perfectly poached egg and stack of streaky bacon....could be eaten with or without but why would you want to when it all tastes so good together. Do yourself a favour go, go now. Live for today !!!!

Cool place for family outing n shopping

My mates and I stopped by for a quick coffee and we also had a dog with us. One of the staff (possibly owner) was quick to fill up the dog water bowl and welcome us to sit down. The other staff we had were friendly and prompt with their service. Coffee was great and the atmosphere was lovely on a sunday morning. Happy to return again.

Really enjoyed coming here for breakfast today. Great coffee, excellent service, a really diverse and interesting menu with huge serves. We're already looking forward to trying the lunch menu!

The Apple & Caramel GF is to die for ❤ and this place has my favourite too #Turmeric latte's which they don't charge $8 for 🙏

Great food, great service and nice atmosphere. Hadn't ventured into this part of Midland before, but worth it.

A bit hard to find if you’re going the first time, the cafe is under the huge wall mural on the inner side of the block. A few little signs on posts helped lead the way 👌 Good breakfast & coffee. Eggs benny had choice of ham, bacon, salmon (+$2) or mushroom and no extra charge for GF bread, which was decent, nor alternative milks (has Milk Lab Almond Milk) - impressed and thankful on behalf of all those who have intolerances 🙏🥰 Perfectly poached runny eggs with lightly frothed hollandaise. From observation they do recognise and acknowledge regulars, which is nice. Friendly interactions and quick service. Recommend getting here around 9am on Sundays before the rush starts at 9:30am.
