Taco Maria

Let me first say that this is the best Mexican food I've had since moving to Perth. I spent a few years in South Cali and while this may not be traditional Mexican (ie: nearly everything served with a side of rice and beans and is dirt cheap), it did not disappoint. I am gluten intolerant, so I ordered the Macho Nachos and my husband got himself a Mole Chicken Burrito. Now, my husband normally hates beans and he completely decimated his food, so that is a huge compliment to the chef making those beans not overpower the dish. We also ordered Jarritos sodas and I believe the owner or manager came over to offer us a substitute and upgraded us to mocktails for no extra charge. I highly recommend the Apple and Elderberry mocktail. There was a fresh strawberry in there to boot and it was so sweet to eat after soaking in the juice. It was absolu5ely delicious. All in all, this was a great experience and I can't wait to come back to try something new.

The staff clearly loved working there and were so happy to help.

The lights were dimmed and perfect for a romantic dinner or just simply a relaxing one.

Everything was fresh and smelled amazing. There were quite a few gluten-free options.

The price was about the same as going to get a burger and chips, so it was fairly priced, in my opinion.

They also gave multiple options to order, which is great for people who prefer ordering from the website or people that want a face-to-face service experience.

Has to be the best Mexican restaurant I have tried in Perth, the food tasted so fresh and the quality was up there. Upon arrival the staff were super welcoming and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Honestly absolutely amazing!

Such a cute little date night spot! Happy hour is fantastic, and toddler friendly! All the staff were amazing, I didn’t have to stress if my little one was being to disruptive as everyone was just so kind.
Food was super tasty and great portions and pricing !

We will definitely be returning!

Highly recommend coming here. The food was delicious, and the tequila bar with cocktail choices was interesting. Must try the popper's.

Came here on Wednesday night to celebrate my wife's birthday. They are located next to Kalamunda Cycles and parking was easy to find. Managed to make it for happy hour so we got to enjoy a few drinks. The menu had variety and the food is delicious. The 16hr Beef Grandes and the Crispy pork belly taco went down a treat, as did the pulled pork and mole chicken burritos, accompanied by corn chips and guacamole dip. So filling we literally rolled out of the restaurant. Staff are very attentive and friendly and overall a great experience, especially for my wife on her special day.

Customer service was amazing. Staff member who served me was like no other. Polite, friendly, helpful and made me feel welcome.
The atmosphere of this place is wicked.

My partner and I went here for Valentine's Day, have been here a few times and have always enjoyed the experience. The set menu for tonight went above and beyond anything you could have expected and for an incredibly reasonable price, especially for Valentine's Day. Will definitely be returning for the amazing hospitality.

Went for Valentines Day with the wife. Wasn’t sure what to expect as we hadn’t been before. It was a fixed menu. The food was amazing. Individually they all seemed small, but by the end we were stuffed!

Really great atmosphere and service. The food is good. Not enough chilli for a Mexican restaurants, but they do give you some great hot sauce to add). Overall it’s definitely worth going to. My wife, son and I really enjoyed it and we’ll be back for sure

We used the QR code on the table to place our order and the entree came out in literally 2 minutes! The atmosphere was wonderful and staff were very friendly! Food was super tasty too! Can't wait to be back!

Okay just go here. It’s absolutely delicious. There is nothing more to it.
The chicken was the perfect amount of tender and the burrito had the perfect mix of flavours.

A very charming local family business, was served by Maria themself! The food was wonderful, nice friendly atmosphere with Mexican style music playing over the speakers, would recommend for groupsz families and Friends outings

Food was fantastic value for money, very tasty and good portions! Staff were extremely friendly and personable. Great atmosphere and vibes! Made use of the happy hour from 5pm-6pm 😊

Just got takeaway. But it was pretty darn good. Had 5 different tacos. They were larger than those mini tacos. The pulled pork taco was the best than the prawn, the chicken and the fish were all great. I personally wasn't a fan of the chili con carne but it was still done well. Will be back to try a bowl or burrito.

From the moment we walked in the door the service was excellent. Zac made us fabulous drinks. The food was fresh,tasty and filling ( had to take away half of the wife's burrito). She made sure she left enough room for your amazing brownie though.
The owner made sure we were enjoying our night and was extremely friendly
Overall we had a fantastic date night and will be back again very soon
