Western Cape Eco Tours

Attended a Sunset Tour. Boat left from shoreline at 4.30pm and returned just after sunset, on our particular day, at 6.30pm. Individual canape selection provided as well as beer, wine (including sparkling), soft drink and water.

Tour operator was very knowledgeable regarding history of Weipa, fauna and flora of the area.

Overall, a fantastic experience. Not only was the sunset amazing, we also saw crocodiles and amazing bird life. Souveniers offered on board for purchase as well.

Great trip. The guys have lots of knowledge of the area. Very relaxing and fun. Recommended sitting on the right-hand side of the boat as they go up the river on the right. Book a week or to in advance as they book out fast.

Was a great little tour, Mal was very knowledgeable and funny. Very happy too see many crocs in their natural habitat and the bird life around the mud banks.

Great tour! Boat ride, saw 5 crocs, lots of birds, wine, beer, nibbles followed by a beautiful sunset. Excellent hosts, excellent tour. Highly recommended 👌

A very wonderful and informative experience. We seen lots of different birds, dolphins crocodiles 🐊.and off course a beautiful sunset over the water Mal and Sean were very knowledgeable of the local area and surrounds. The drinks and food supplied topped off a wonderful afternoon.

Great tour by Mal. Did the early morning tour and saw multiple crocodiles and different bird species. Mal was entertaining and educational. Would highly recommend if you're in town.

We went on the Sunset tour. Fantastic, fun, informative and entertaining.
We got some great photos of the sunset over the Pacific Ocean and the Western side of Australia. Plenty of wildlife, alcohol provided, and nibbles. With laughter to whole time with the wonderful Mic and his son. A must do..

Mal was fun, informative and entertaining and offered a great overview of the area- including the port and mining operations. Watching the sunset over the water with a beer in my hand was an added bonus!

We did the 9am tour and were very satisfied. Darren and Jane are very knowledgeable on all things crocs, local birdlife and Weipa town and mining. Thoroughly recommend this tour, my very first sighting of a croc after 2 weeks in Cape York area! 🙂
