Heritage Resort

This place is under new management from late 2023. I didnt stay there, due to the reviews, but I did have breakfast. It was recommended by locals. The full breakfast was very tasty with locally made beef sausages. Great coffee served by Flo and lovely chatty managers. They tell me they are refurbing and they are trying to improve the previously poor reputation. Its next to Woolworths and across the road from parkrun.

We arrived not expecting much but were pleasantly surprised. The managers, who are new and their staff could not be any more obliging and the room was dated but very comfortable. The pool was lovely and dinner was delicious. Being right next door to the shopping centre was an added bonus. The manager has great plans to update this resort so I’m sure you’ll be happy if you stayed here.

Resort/motel just taken over by an absolutely lovely couple. They could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were clean, tidy and spacious. Location for access to supermarket and some shops was excellent and Wi-Fi was very fast. Overall recommend it very highly.

I recommend eating the salmon, followed by the lime cheesecake.

Lovely homestyle meals which were reasonably priced. My steak was cooked to perfection. Gracious hosts and a pre- dinner drink at the bar made it a really enjoyable evening.

We stayed here after a night after being at Weipa Motel. And would stay here again and again..
The Heritage Resort it well priced, friendly service and excellent restaurant with bar, serving breakfast and dinner (really the only place in Weipa serving breakfast)
The meals were pub sized meals (huge) and reasonably priced considering the remote location and difficulty with shipping produce up here.
The rooms were clean, themed in a heritage style so very unique and the bed was comfortable and huge (King or bigger)

You have to go And have a meal from the restaurant here. I've eaten their twice now and the meals have been so great. The rooms are also great and well kept.

I didn't stay there so I can't speak as to the accommodation. However the meal I had there was amazing, friendly staff, cold beer and an amazing seafood pad Thai.

Food was fantastic. Room was clean, bed very comfortable. Great service.

Stayed here for the second time in Weipa. Clean rooms, walking distance from shops, nice management. Will be staying here in the future. highly recommend.
