Weipa Camping Ground

We stayed in a powered tent site. Great amenities. The caravan park was settled in amongst shady trees. Cafe had great burgers and fish and chips. Sunset while eating dinner was spectacular. With love and Divine Light. Robert Vicary

Found the staff at the time to be quite rude but apart from that the park itself was lovely, they do however need more washing machines & lines to accommodate all the sites, having only one of each for about 12 sites was pretty poor. Will come back however as the park is in a great spot & ablutions are perfect.

Extreamly helpful staff, fitting us in when we turned up a day early. Awesome big site, fit 3 cars. Incredible views and great facilities. Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely amazing place! We've stayed here twice and always had a wonderful experience 🤩 Staff are welcoming, accommodating and just down right friendly!! Facilities are clean and well maintained too 😃 The place was packed but so quiet too!

Great campground with great amenities, staff, pool, grounds and onsite fish and chip shop with outdoor seating on the edge of the beach. The childrens playground was an added bonus ensuring parents with small kids could keep an eye on them while eating in peace.

Great place to stay. Very large site we stayed on for 4 nights with the caravan.
Lovely local boy (Will) lives at the camping ground looked after our dog a couple of times. So if anyone wants someone to look after their dog, ask for Will. He likes to earn a bit of money.
The amenities were clean. The staff were so friendly.
The pool was lovely.
The beach looked lovely, but can't swim in it because of crocodiles. Thank goodness, we didn't see any while we stayed.

Awesome camping. Make sure you spend the extra money for a beach view :)
Dog friendly so there are lots of pooches to see ! But If you bring your dog , pick up its poo!!!!!! . It's your responsibility, not the staffs !!

Stayed for 2 nights in our camper trailer, loved it!! Great facilities, hot showers, very clean. Well maintained grounds & large sites. Pool was so relaxing! The food (Barra & Barra Burger) was absolutely delicious!! Beautiful sunset too. Very impressed, will be back ❤

Excellent camp ground with great sized sites, the staff all go out of their way to be helpful. So glad that we stopped here for a couple of days. We can highly recommend Heartland Helicopter tours as well.

Very helpful staff. Enjoyed our stay. Just wished they had a coffee machine. Great showers.

We had a great stay in the caravan park. All the staff at the front desk were very helpful and the fish and chips from Barramunchies was fantastic..

This is a real gem of a van park right on the water amazing sunsets good size sites and friendly people that run it.

Our week here turned into 6 weeks as we were waiting on a fridge. Can't speak highly enough of this campground. The staff were absolutely wonderful the whole way through and were always willing to accommodate us.
Great watching the sunset over the water whilst the kids have a play on the playground. There's also a pool, and Barramunchies Cafe is a great feed and reasonably priced.

Wow everything good. Lots to do, beautiful sunsets. Shopping, pubs, everything you need.

Rocked up here not knowing what to expect, but what a location with the best West coast beach sunset you will see.

Great facilities and top spot. Rain was a bit of a problem, but the park was clean, and all amenities were well maintained.
