Nice places very polite sales woman

I started as a happy customer. It wasn't a great process, but we were mostly happy with the build. After we bent over backwards to meet a final inspection though, we made the mistake of making our final payment. Since then, they have failed to attend to defects for over 6 months, have never called back without prompting and have never managed to follow through on a single commitment or promise.

My house is under construction, however getting the Longridge Group to actually finish a job that they start is becoming a nightmarish experience.

They two thirds clad the house, but then ran out of materials and promised for months that the rest will be finished “next week”. Maybe “next week” will come next week after all.

They have done two thirds of the tiling, but then ran out of materials and as yet haven’t returned as per the indicated timeline.

They started building without a skip, then never bothered to put their mess in the skip. After five months I got sick of watching rats run in and out of a pile of waste and put it in the bin for them.

They flushed the whole place and installed the kitchen, but left the place open for months because they two thirds installed the windows. Yep a kitchen before lockup.

In their defence, they are phenomenal at dodging phone calls, breaking promises and doing just enough to send a bill.

Don’t do it. Find a builder who can do it right.

I know there will always be issues but the lack of care and ownership of any problems by the longridge group is truly soul destroying. With a little extra effort they could make such a big difference to the overall experience but the attitude is do as little as possible and ignore customers and building defects and hope they go.

Is there anyway that all people affected by this company can get together to consider some collective action. The one star does not count as there are no options for negative stars.

Poor experience, signed up 19 months ago approximately and only Slab got poured so far and that too incorrect as missed slab in some areas. Been chasing the Build team from last 3 months and got 20 ETA's and none of the ETA's been met so far.
