Baggage Storage by Smarte Carte, Brisbane International Airport

No hassle and very easy to use. A$14/day for medium and A$16/day for large luggage. Put in your credit card, key in your 6 digit secret code (2x) then they will select and automatically open an empty locker for you to store your luggage. It will charge you for a day's worth. When you are ready to collect your luggage, key in your locker number, 6 digit secret code and the locker will open up automatically. It will charge for the remainder number of days through your credit card. Location is near to carpark on ground level before you enter the terminal.

Team were super helpful with storing my bike overnight. Very impressed with the service; they picked up the bike (in a box) from the terminal, and then met me the next day at the terminal for me to collect. Made travelling with a bike so much easier! Thank you to the team!

Ground floor by car park. Easy to find and use. Automated. Tap card, insert 6 digit PIN twice and door pops open. Perhaps keep leg against door until you're finished (I saw someone complain the door closed. Mine didn't) charged my card correctly. Maybe have a half day option to hire? We only needed for 3 hrs before checkin opened, but didn't want to lug bags around. So $32 but it did hold my big bag, little backpack and camera bag in mine. I'm super happy.

Expensive but works really well

Updated: I have received a refund for the error below. Thank you. The lockers themselves work as intended and were easy to use. The representative who communicated with me for several months during the refund process (which was lengthy due to being international) was polite and helpful throughout.

The charge was supposed to be $12 AUD for under 24 hours of use. I used it for half a day, and after I flew home, I checked my statement and they charged me $96 AUD.

automated service. Pay put your stuff in, come back get your stuff out. Again it's automated don't waist time fussing just be quick, per plan whats in and out you can only open once.

Pretty average but still a must if you want to roam locally before your flight. Helpful staff if you get stuck, which normally happens. Every failed payment attempt puts a transaction against your credit card, but it seems to disappear after a few days. Staff on the phone were a bit blasé about it but helpful staff on the ground.

Lockers are inconveniently located and credit card payment was temperamental. Also, hard to find (no signage).

Selected a too small locker and expected to be able to change into a bigger if it did not fit. Tried several times to call on the number given without anyone answering. Cancelled the small locker and hope to get this refunded :-/

Charged $14 aud through VISA card for medium sized locker but failed to provide locker number, no PIN input and lastly no locker opened after transaction approved.

update: managed to refund it. customer service was smooth. do use cash just in case.

I've stored my bag here once when I was stopping over in Brissy dropped it off went into the city and picked my bag up when I got back to the airport cheap and easy

When we retired the luggage one of them was blocked...can you imagine the panic...But then we tried again and it opened!

Pathetically small number of lockers for an international airport and more expensive than the luggage storage service provided at the information desk of the airport. Also doesn't show the amount of vacant lockers so our group only managed to drop off half our luggage.

Be aware, their lockers will close on you unexpectedly, requiring you to hire them again. Their "service" line is dead. Fraudulent band of criminals as far as I'm concerned.

Charged me 56aud for something that stated 16. DO NOT USE. Not helpful and wouldn’t refund
