Carmila Caravan Park

Great night sleep in a cabin in Carmila. From the phone call to them (after everyone one else had closed and turned off their phones) to breaky in the morning at the servo, customer service has been excellent. Very comfy bed, clean and everything we needed before getting back on the road.
We will be back to stay longer next time for some fishing and relaxation.

A small but meticulously maintained park. Super friendly staff. On the highway but not really that noisy. Very easy to park the van. Good sized sites. Short drive to Carmila beach. Attached to a service station with hot food. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect, good distance from Bris to Cairns halfway stop.
Room good, clean with adequate facilities.
Handy servo for essentials.
Will stay here again.

Whoever owns this park should be very thankful that they have Glen as manager. Everything is immaculate and nothing is a problem for him. Great quiet spot. Thank you Glen

This park is fantastic Welcoming & friendly staff, Very tidy, clean & well maintained cabins Equipped for visitors comfort like extra sooner, a small heater which was great, cooking & eating utensils, also 24 hr restaurant right next door which has excellent food & lovely staff. I have stayed here twice & highly recommend it. MUCH better than Barracrab which was appalling but still charges top $.

Pretty park, very well looked after, and a gracious, down to earth Lee to keep it all going. A little road noise as is by the Bruce highway, on the road to Carmila beach.....but not a problem. Amenities are good & clean.

Well what a delightful surprise! We decided on Carmila purely on distance and drove onto a beautifully manicured and maintained park. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The amenities were spotless and the drive through sites area so easy to access. Great park for an overnight stay..

Great park! Very clean, Michelle and Steve are very friendly and accommodating.
Kids loved the free bikes to ride and our pets even got a treat! We will definitely be back and would highly recommend!:)

Thank you so much to the staff at Carmila caravan Park. Not only was the cabin we booked at sorry notice clean, comfortable, quiet and well supplied with everything we needed, the booking and check in was easy and staff helpful and friendly.
Then to add to it we stopped by a week later on our way back home to ask if they might have found an item we left behind and they new exactly what I meant and returned it within minutes. We're very grateful for their lovely help and such honesty. Highly recommended place to stop. Well done guys!

The great reviews for this little gem are true - Camile Caravan & Motel is a great spot to stay and for this trip it was a powered site.
The park is a credit to whoever is maintaining the manicured grass sites and gardens and the facilities are spotless - where else would you find freshly cut flowers in the bathrooms! so pleased we made this our stopover point.
The town clearly takes pride in itself with road verges neatly mowed and easy access to a electric vehicle charging station. Thank you..

Stayed here while traveling through, friendly young manager, tidy rooms and the service station is right next door that does amazing food

First impressions don't count here . This is a little gem of a cabin / camping park that is clean , quiet , homely, good value ( cheap) and friendly. Yes there may not be a stove top in the cabin ( well the one we were in ) but adapt with what they have like an electric fry pan and it's all good . A servo next door for your basic needs and the small quaint town is at your door step. A lovely beach to walk on is only 6 kms away.

Best showers on our trip so far. Lovely host, guiding us to the spot, connecting our power and showing us around. cute little street for a midnight stroll once you're away from the highway.

Council Jack fruit tree was awesome

Clean, tidy and very comfortable cabin. Staff were friendly and recommended sights to see in the local area. Highly recommend staying here

Thanks to Connie for her hospitality on our trip south. She was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! As a bonus there's an EV charging station across the road.

Under New Management. This is a little gem of a spot, with cabins and units to go with the powered and unpowered sites. Grassy and clean, the hosts are classic country hospitality at it's finest. Have a chat with Pat and Kat and you'll discover some great local info. The Puma next door is great for a meal and very handy.

Have stayed here in a cabin for 2 weeks due to funeral commitments have great hospitality from Lee Glen and staff could not be more highly recommend this place including getting breakfast from service station is also beautiful thanks again Bluey and lynda

The wonderful man at this park was so helpful when we run out of diesel at the servo next door, which is under renovations. We are forever in his debt. I wish him all the best in the future. 🙇‍♂🙇‍♂
