Borchelli Ristorante

A small Italian restaurant called Borchelli Ristorante opposite to The Capital Theatre in Bendigo has definitely won our hearts! 🥰
We went for lunch and ordered garlic bread, spaghetti seafood marinara and spaghetti bolognese for the kids!
The food was fantastic and delicious, the spaghetti was “al dente” 👌🏻, sauce and seafood was superbly seasoned 👌🏻👌🏻.
We loved it so much we came back the next day for lunch. Highly recommend trying to book as there are limited number of tables.

The food was delicious, with authentic flavors that truly impressed. An added bonus was the lemon tart dessert, which was both citrusy and refreshing, providing the perfect end to a fantastic meal. This Italian gem is definitely worth a visit!

We ate outside, and it was a great night - staff can make or break a restaurant and in this case they stole the show! Great recommendations for food from them and the service was faultless , they seemed happy to be there which is always nice - a credit to them .

Last night, my wife and I had a delicious dinner. I had the fettuccine carbonara and my wife had the spaghetti bolognese, the portions were good (we both had main size). We also had dessert, the chocolate Jaffa mousse and the lemon tart. Overall the food was really nice.

Food is pretty decent, especially the pasta. We ordered risotto as well, personally would not order for a second time, but would opt for pasta. Wide variety of wine is available for choice. Service is very good, with the waitresses checking on us from time to time for further needs. Generally a busy restaurant, so might need to wait for a bit if you didn't make your decision there and then when you were seated (not too long though!). Atmosphere is very peaceful and chilling, good place to go with friends and even dating. Ah yes, garlic bread is absolutely amazing, would order a second time.

We enjoyed everything about Borchelli’s. The staff were helpful and knew the menu. Attentive when needed. The food was excellent and of a calibre that we anticipated having read other reviews and looking at the menu. The venue is quite small but we were given an upstairs table and didn’t feel crowded.

This was our second time here and it didn't disappoint. The garlic bread and pasta dishes were as fabulous as the first time and the service was outstanding. There are now 2 locations in Bendigo and we just wish they could open a restaurant in Woodend where we live! We will definitely be back and can highly recommend!

5-star brasserie in Bath lane. We ate outside for Sunday brunch, great food and service.
Gluten free options were plentiful and our meals superb.

First night here in Bendigo for my mini vacation and what a way to begin!!! From all the good reviews and that it was a two minute walk from where I was staying I thought I might as well try it and wow am I happy I did! I just ordered the Sauvignon Blanc waterfall which was really nice, crisp and refreshing that paired well with the spaghetti marinara that I had and I think that was the best spaghetti marinara I’ve EVER had! And I’ve had a lot of spaghetti marinaras, from the perfectly cooked pasta to the literal melt in your mouth seafood to that delectable sauce WOW tempted to come back again tomorrow night just for that dish! I liked the atmosphere of classic red and white checkered tablecloths, nice Italian classic music and the heater nearby was great with this cold night. Service was good and I felt very well attended for

Amazing Italian restaurant. Excellent food and ambience with very cordial staff. Tried Antipasto, bread & oil in entrees and fish of the day ( Salmon) & Lamb Shank in Main & Lemon tart in dessert. Will love to visit in future.

Our great finding! The boy kindly gave us a before-reserved-time table when we came at around 5pm, hungry and tired after a day chasing autumn leaves. We ordered the innovative Pasta Misto of three choices of pasta. We did it right: they were all delicious 😋

2. very appropriate portions not too much not too little (enough for dessert)

3. The lemon tart for dessert and the tiramisu was AMAZING !!!! Highly reccomend for dessert!

4. Garlic bread looked amazing but never ordered it which we regretted.

This was a beautiful accident. I wanted to go and enjoy some chai latte at Cafe El Beso, but they were packing up. Saw the nice tent outside Borchelli and thought why not? And it turned out really nice.

A very nice and accommodating restaurant for singles. While waiting for their friendly and helpful staff arranging the table for me, I paid a visit to the ladies' and fell in love with their indoor decorations. Very warm and homy.

I had a hot chocolate, fish of the day and tiramisu. It was a very satisfying dining experience. The coffee and alcohol in tiramisu gave it a good hit. That was love at first bite.

It was a good wrap-up of my weekend in this lovely city.

Happy to be dining out after covid19 restrictions! We booked ahead of time to avoid disappointment.
Seated upstairs with a view of the Capital Theatre we poured over the menu making our selections. Our chosen dishes were delivered promptly and tasted delicious.
We left with bellies full and smiles on our faces.

Food was amazing, fresh and I'm assuming house made pasta, witch if not was still fantastic. Highly recommend and the serve and staff were welcoming and amazing
