Beechworth Bakery Bendigo

Went August 2023, 6:30am

Large Selection of bakery items, super fresh bakery smell.
Got a Cream Lamington, Ned Kelly Pie and a breakfast roll.
The bread on that breakfast roll is so fresh its got a that fresh crunch crackling to it. Even the bacon taste different and better.

Lots of room to eat, both booths and tables.

Ample parking

A really good place to stop for a break - everything you need, coffee, light snacks, pies, cakes and slices - and comfy tables and chairs at which to enjoy them. All very Aussie and relaxed, but with a nice sense of history.

First time here and many people recommending it coming through Bendigo. Lives up to the name I must say.
Had a Beechworth steak pie and a cheese, bacon and egg toastie. The egg and cheese in the toastie was perfect, bacon could have been spread out further but still was very good.
Pie was good, had some nice textures to it.
Also, very friendly service and CLEAN interior.

Walked passed during Sunset last night and thought I’d drop in for Breaky. Friendly service and great food. Lots of nice looking cake options

It was an hour before closing time so unsurprisingly only cold pie was left. I guess I must have looked so hungry that the staff said she can cook one for me if I can wait for five minutes. Of course I said yes! I ordered a cappuccino as well besides the Indian vegie curry pie. I actually told the staff that they are for takeaway and yet she offered a tray just in case I want to have a bite so it will be easier instead of eating from the packet. She sort of read my mind because that was what I planned to do - eat half of it first and the other half is for takeaway. Do you know that feeling when someone is so sincere in giving the best service? IT’S SO NICE!

It's a great local bakery. We enjoyed their hot chocolate, flat white coffee, biscuits, and eclairs.

The Beechworth Bakery in Bendigo was an excellent stop. The Vegetarian Quiche and Cappuccino ☕ were excellent, along with the staff.

UPDATE! 25th November 2023. It is still a lovely place, yet no Vegetable Quiche 😳 The Cauliflower and Cheese Pie was nice 🙂

One of the top bakeries in town. Best location as direct access from Midland hwy, easy parking spaces, great ambience, nice coffee and bee-stings, still to try most of their menu yet. Newbees in Bendigo shouldn’t miss this.

Went here for a quick lunch. Was very surprised at the huge variety. Pricing was very reasonable and the quality of the food was absolutely amazing.
Huge range of desserts and bakery goods, fresh pies and sausage rolls, healthy wraps, rolls with meat and salad and also coffee and drinks. Huge amount of seating so you won't have any problem finding somewhere to sit down with your family either indoor or outdoor.

Never disappoints. Very conveniently located near the tourist attractions. Staff are attentive and tables are cleaned proactively. Bakery foods taste nice and the coffees are strong and tasty.

Stopped in here a couple of weeks back for a coffee. Found the store to be conviently located. Good parking. The service was friendly and didn't have to wait too long. Plenty different products to choose from. The coffee was very good as well as the hot chocolate, we ordered. Well worth a stop.

oh yum, long drive from the city to bendigo, they right in the corner of the street, plenty of parking, look pretty chill. maybe it’s monday so a little bit quiet.
so many sweet , such as donut, cake, cookie, and other savoury thing like pie, sandwiches etc.
try the sandwich are pretty great, perfect portion, good for lunch, also a place to chill and relax. like it

Totally the best coffee ever and I’m definitely fussy when it comes to my coffee. The barista there makes it perfect each time and will be there tomorrow morning for another brilliant coffee. Also the atmosphere is friendly and so are the staff. 👍

A fantastic destination for a delicious coffee, pies, fresh in store made bread, fresh made daily different types of salad rolls and quiches etc. Their beautiful cakes, slices, buns are to die for they are so delicious that it will be so hard to choose which one you want to eat. The customer service is fantastic. They go above and beyond to help you with your orders.

Use to love the slices of quiche the best quiche ive ever brought but only have the small ones now and love there carrot cake and vegetable bushmans pasties since I don't eat meat! There so good!

Cute bakery/cafe with lots of different food to choose from. It all looks amazing and everything we ordered was delicious. Except the coffee which was definitely burnt. But it's a bakery first, so what did I expect. I still recommend it.

Delicious go- to bakery that you always know will have delicious pies and cakes no matter the location. It certainly didn't dissapoint!

Fabulous, love this place. Atmosphere is great, staff are on point and the baked goods of the highest quality. I recommend the Bushman's pasty! And the French Vanilla Slice. And the coffee. Call in. You won't be sorry.

My concerns about not having apple slices were largely allayed by tasting their apple squares, which improved on apple slices with their reduced sugar and far less tendency for the apple to slip out the sides. All in all a great place for a quick and easy lunch.
