Island Burger Bar

As honestly as I can say, the set up of this restaurant is one of a kind. it appears a normal burger joint from the front, but you venture to the back and are transported to a world of surf and vintage atmosphere. the unique decorations of this restaurant were simply beauteous and after a swim, the food was ravishing with an extensive range of food. i loved how accomodating this place was, the guy at the front was super friendly. i definitely recommend!

We went today with a friend, we had the Island burger and the pumpkin salad, they both were delicious. The staff is very friendly and provided a great service. The food was served pretty quickly. I highly recommend this place, they have a good variety in the menu and the prices are quite reasonable.

Second time going to the Island Burger Bar and luckily it wasn’t as busy as when we went on Cup weekend. The owner is very dedicated and does a great job managing customers and taking orders, plus cooking and serving food as well.

The burgers are on point! Chicken has been cooked perfectly both times we’ve been there. The salad on the burgers is delicious with the mixed leaves, cucumber, radish and balsamic dressing.

Everyone I went with was super happy with their orders.

Our vegetarian friends loved the pinnacle burger and thought the homemade patty was nice and not dry like some veggie options are.

Chips were hot and crispy.

We love the decor and being able to eat outside and enjoy the ambience of the beer garden.

Juicy and chuky burgers. Hot and crispy fries. Do not miss the six cottages at the back for a beach vibe dine in experience. A must-see if you're visiting Cape Woolamai.

4 different vegetarian/vegan burgers which was an automatic win. Loved the Moroccan spiced patty and my partner enjoyed his American burger. Couldn’t believe how reasonably priced it was! $30 for two burgers and wedges.
Food came out quickly and service was friendly. The heaters in the beer garden were great for winter, looks like it would be a cool place to eat & drink at in summer. Will be back if we’re in the area again! Highly recommend for a laid back meal

From the outside looks like a fun place to eat and it really is quite different. There are a few seats outside and slightly smaller inside but they have a large table in which about 6 to maybe 10 people can sit around. Not only you get to enjoy great food but also to meet other people sharing the same taste for good and local eateries. The burgers we tried were delicious, specially the kangaroo steak one which didn’t disappoint. We order a large side of fries and was bigger than expected. We couldn’t finish them so they packed it nicely to go. We had them the day after and they still tasted great. The best part of our visit was the attention. Do yourself a favor and don’t miss this place when in the area.

Such great burgers which are always fresh and delicious. We come here every time we come to the island. Try the sweet potato chips! Very good value also.

Do yourself a favour and avoid the summer crowds of Cowes - just 15 minutes down the road you'll find this fantastic burger bar. The beer garden out the back will help you relax and remember why you're visiting Phillip Island. The burgers are truly delicious with locally made buns (which don't leave you with that bready filling feeling), plus great options for vegetarians and vegans too. Speedy and friendly service, this is a winner.

Our hiking group loved the burgers and friendly service. Fantastic local business, family-owned with a range of meat/plant-based/gf options and tasty burgers with great value.

What a great little spot to grab a bite.. Lovely owner and staff. Plenty of options for all kinds of appetites dietary needs. Sit inside or outside.
Lovely courtyard out the back with the rustic up cycled decore. Fire pit. Top job love it! Under cover too 👌carpark out front and across the road with public toilets. Definitely will come again 😊👍

Fantastic burgers, fries and milkshake - all gluten free. The staff took extra care to check ingredients and reassure me of the level they go to for gluten free. The vibe of the place was a pleasant mix of retro and surf. Small but funky. A few tables out the front in the sun and a courtyard out the back. All reasonably priced with condiments aplenty.

This is going to become one of my regular places to visit when on the island.

Wonderful place to eat, lovely sitting area out the back, great food, good pricing amazing service, came here for lunch with my partner and had a great meal, definitely recommend!

They don't have adult size cheeseburgers but you can ask them for an adult size cheesebuger
