The Butter Factory Cafe

The Butter Factory Café were recommended and did not disappoint. Fabulous caring staff with gluten free and Coeliac safe prep area, separate GF fridge, utensils and even separate cutlery. Hands washed before handling my order. I dined in and couldn’t decide between the two homemade pie choices so ate one and took the other away for another day!

Amazing menu with it all being gluten free, and they don’t charge extra for gluten free. Good parking, super friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommend the bagels. Sophie was amazing!

Seperate area for gluten free, completely coeliac friendly. Awesome service and great food- no extra charge for gluten free ( which is something I've never seen) and all menu items can be gluten free.

I was a bit worried given the mixed reviews, but we had a great experience! Friendly service on a busy morning. We had the big breakfast and the breakfast wrap - so much food! Everything was tasty and I think the potato rosti was one of the best I’ve had!

Tried the slices and they all taste delicious. My favourites are the Jelly slice and Passionfruit cheesecake.
They make best Chai Latte in town too. Highly recommend!

Had this vegan burger a couple weeks ago and had to come back. Even better the second time. Classic chips that made me feel like I was on the beach eating chips from my childhood. Thanks heaps. Well be back.

Incredible gluten free menu! The Butter Factory Cafe is a must visit for anyone with coeliac disease visiting Shepparton. I wish I lived closer!

Love having breakfast whenever I visit Shepparton. Cute cafe with a welcoming and quiet atmosphere to do some work. I like that it's conveniently located near the centre. Friendly and quick service. Good menu of delicious food and drinks.

It’s lovely when you can go to place that every menu item has a GF option. The coffee was amazing and Sophia’s service went above and beyond. We even bought take away pies for later. Next time we’re passing through we’ll definitely be back. Keep up the great work 👏

Yes yes yes!!! We called to see if there was room to park our caravan out the front as we were travelling through from Queensland. To our delight there was enough room out the front and as soon as we arrived we were all welcomed and a table was kept aside for us. The coffee is amazing, and the food was wonderful. As my wife is a diagnosed coeliac to see separated cutlery labelled gluten free meals clearly marked gluten free and the careful prep of the food and meals was just amazing. Well done team on a great place and great atmosphere, and good old fashioned customer service. 👍👍👍

Coffees were made quickly, not overheated and the cafe had fresh lactose free milk on hand! Add to that nearly everything on the menu, including pancakes was gluten free at no additional charge, I was already impressed.

Then we ordered and when the food arrived the portions were generous, well seasoned and cooked to perfection.

My partner and I will definitely be back next time we are in Shepparton.

A cafe that provides gluten free options without an extra cost is an absolute winner for those who have coeliac and is one of the reasons why I booked a reservation at this cafe twice in a row.

The attention to small details such as separate cutlery and stickers to label different options is great and provides reassurance to those who need it.

My husband and I tried different options over the two mornings we visited and they were all tasty and presented nicely.

If we ever visit Shepparton again we will be back!
