Mareeba Golf Club

We did not play golf here (although looks like a lovely place to play) but drove around to see the ~300 kangaroos. Very reasonable price of 30$ to rent a cart for an hour and we absolutely loved watching the kangaroos. Great fun for us. Friendly, warm service at the desk also.

Excellent local golf club. Greens are well maintained and the Tee times are aplenty.
You also get a chance to be up close and to the Kangaroos on the field, just don't get too close, keep your distance as they are wild afterall.

Great golf club with very friendly and welcoming people. Reasonable rates and added bonus of the hundreds of kangaroos lounging under the shade of the many trees around the course. Hire clubs, carts and pull buggies also available.

Great place to see kangoroo from close distance.You can rent a bogey for one hour for 2 people. Cost is 30 AUD .

Great countryside course, long flat fairways and nice small greens, very reasonable green fee, and friendly staff. This is a fantastic place to see Kangaroos and wallabies on the golf course, and would highly recommend having a game there. Thanks again John for your warm hospitality.

Great country course but the locals are a bit pervy and refuse to get out of the way

Went for the wild life encounter. As we planned our trip to see wild kangaroos and birds. There are hundreds of them and we rented a buggy to spot them. People there are friendly. Worth the trip!

This is a fantastic place to see Kangaroos and walabees in the wild (on the golf course). This is a private golf course so you must go to the club house and pay a small fee ($5) to walk the course. Or you can rent a golf cart for $20. By the way, these are wild animals so do not get too close. Also, the golf course does not want people feeding them. This place is about an hour drive from Cairns. Its a nice drive from Cairns.

Well worth a visit if you’re in the area. Surprisingly good course in a country area, some very long challenging par 4s and cheap green fees. Watch out for the Roos😀

You can play golf with kangaroos!

The best and most reasonably priced regional golf course in NQ, with great atmosphere, great staff and snacks. Easily the best greens in NQ. Friends, my wife and myself drive up from Cairns at least once a week.

Mareeba golf course is one of the better courses outside of Cairns and Port Douglas and would highly recommend having a game there, having played all over Queensland Mareeba rates in my top 10 courses.

Had a great round of golf. Lots of kangaroos on the course. Friendly lady took care of all our carts and hire clubs, etc.

I have no clue about golf but this place is best around Mareeba to see lots of really lots of Kangaroos.
